I like this cream and I use it every day

I gave this one to my wife because it has a slight feminine scent. She has been using this day cream for a couple of weeks and it’s actually been a really nice addition to her routine. This cream has that smooth, velvety texture that sinks in quickly and leaves skin feeling soft but not greasy, which is exactly what she says she needs before applying makeup. Don't know if it is just me, but I’ve noticed her skin looks a bit more even and brighter. She mentioned that it layers well with makeup and sunscreen without any of it sliding around... her words. Overall, it’s a solid day cream. It is hydrating, smoothing, and makeup‑friendly and it gives skin a nice boost without feeling heavy. The nice and heavy jar also feels nice, and the opening makes it easy to use.

I ordered this because been wanting to try retinol based creams for a while. I am using this in conjunction with the Delfanti night cream so the results I feel are not indicative of this product alone. First off, the cream has a gentle scent, which is nice as I find many face creams to be overpowering. For something that is in proximity to my nose I feel this has just the right amount of scent. The cream goes onto my skin easily and seems to absorb well. There is not much residual greasiness since it absorbs quickly and it does leave my face feeling moisturized a bit better. After a few weeks of use my skin feels a bit tighter, but in a good way. The ingredients, while not simple, seem like they are in line with other quality skin creams, and it is made in Italy which is nice. I like that it comes in a glass jar as opposed to plastic (less pollution in the end) and the packaging in general has good quality to it. I have not had any negative effects from the Retinol, but beware some people do. The price on this cream seems competitive with similar options, and I would recommend it.

I’ve been using retinol creams for several years now (usually a well-known “N” brand), but I’ve recently started branching out and trying different options. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of testing this one, I’ve realized I can’t continue using it. The cream has a smooth consistency, absorbs easily, and isn’t greasy. There’s very little scent, which is good for someone like me with skin sensitivities. However, my skin just doesn’t agree with it. I experienced irritation that didn’t settle down with continued use, so I stopped using it, and the irritation went away. That doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t work for others folks - it's just that my skin is apparently particular about retinol formulas.
