These brackets hold so much weight and are very sturdy. Make sure you screw where a stud is if possible. I did leave a small gap between the bracket and the back of the shelf, only because my shelf wasn’t perfectly straight. That has nothing to do with the brackets though. I used three for my daughters shelf and I have the rest to use later. It comes with everything you need, besides the shelf. Very happy with this purchase!

These shelf brackets are solid and clean. All edges and overall design are rounded, even, and look good. They seem plenty sturdy enough for intended use. I like that they can be inverted so the back plate can sit hidden behind the shelf itself. One issue that bugs a bit is that the mounting plate is too wide for a stud in a wall. Obviously, one side of the plate and screws can hit the stud, but the other side of the plate will be too wide and wall plugs are required. It’s not a huge issue and I’m not sure there’s an easy solution regardless. If the plate is narrow enough to get 4 screws into the stud, then it reduces the width and strength of the bracket. Recommended overall.

Only really sturdy if you use a stud on both sides. Even then, you cannot put very much weight on the shelf without it drooping. 4 stars because It’s a nice and stylish shelf, but I like to put books and plants on my shelves and that weighs them down a lot.

Nice, strong, minimal footprint brackets. I used them to replace inadequate brackets on a homemade, 2x8 shelf in my home shop that supports my Shopsmith accessories. The shelf WAS leaning away from the wall from the load (I estimate several hundred pounds over maybe 10 feet); No longer! These brackets were more than up to the task. I was even able to correct the "set" that the 2x8 had taken, from leaving it in that sorry state for so long. Now everything on the shelf is shipshape and vertical as it should be, and the shelf is untwisted and flush to the wall, and there is more space available under, as these brackets are svelte!

We bought these for some shelves above the toilet. They worked great. They were just what we were looking for. They are very sturdyand easily support the shelves we chose. I like the fact that they came in a 6 pack. The price was very reasonable too.

The metal pieces are thick and appear solid. Hardware is included which is helpful. I appreciate the screws sit recessed- so the board can sit properly against the bracket. I thought it was a good price for the item. I used it to turn an broken cutting board I thrifted into a shelf.
