I bought this to feed to my moody mare (horse). On Vets orders I have used other brands of chaseberry with great success to curb hormonal behavior issues with my horse but this one is a flop. It is like night and day between this supplement and the last one. There are a few things about this brand that are different that the others I have used. It is kind of a dark pink color, has absolutely no smell and tastes sweet and berry like with only a hit of bitter. The taste is super mild almost no flavor other than slightly sweet. The other brands I have used with success smell strongly herbal are a dark brown color to grey brown in color and taste bitter and herbal. The only ingredient listed on this package is "Chaste Tree Berry extract" but it clearly has some sort of sweetener in it. When I ordered I made sure it said "Vitex agnus castus" but I am wondering if the difference is the word "extract". I don't know if it would be good for human uses but for horse use it isn't the right stuff.

I use this product on my horses and have never had a problem. This order the packaging was punctured and there was product all over. There is no replacement or return policy for this item. I just wanted someone to know.

Not what l expected. The bag contains sweet pink powder, not normal bitter brown Vitex. Not sure what’s in the bag uncomfortable using it since it’s a mystery powder or there’s another primary ingredient in the bag. Beet powder might explain the color but it’s definitely not a listed ingredient.

I work with herbs everyday, this Doesnt look, smell or taste like chasteberry. Chasteberry has a bitter taste. Whatever this is its not chasteberry or maybe it is but its mixed with something else. False adverstisment!!!!!!

THIS IS NOT PURE CHASTETREE BERRY POWDER. Do not buy, because apparently you can’t return it either!

I am feeling so much better after starting incorporating this in my diet . My skin is glowing , I think it’s all working plus my other lifestyle changes and diet .
