That surprised me. But. What you will find in this issue are two of the best stories I've read in the last few years. Outstanding. Astonishing. Full of invention, refreshing voices that twisted and turned the language to suit the narrative, and gave serious messages with a feather light touch of real virtuosity. But this is my opinion. As soon as I read one of these stories it made me pre-buy the writers debut novel that'll make me wait till April next year ... just saying!
