**Q: How long is the hook/or distance it protrudes from the wall?**
A: From the wall to the end of the hook  8 1/2 inches

**Q: will it hold 3000ml iv bag**
A: Since 3000ml is only 6.6 pounds, this unit should handle the weight but you should use molly bolts to anchor to the wall.  We have 6 of these units that we have been using for 5+ years.  Pleased with their performance, but can't say that we have suspended 6 pounds of weight on them

**Q: Can this hook carry an EZ Access bedside shower bag filled with 2.5 gallon of water?**
A: Probably not, 2.5 Gallons of water would likely be too heavy as these are designed for regular sized IV bags.
