Great line and great value.
Great line and great value. I really struggled to shoot line with the factory line that came with the reel. With this I can really shoot it. It made a huge difference in feel as well. I can feel the line in the back cast and know when to move my hand forward by feel instead of by looking over my shoulder. One of the best upgrades you can do to a low budget rod.

Quality Fly Line for the beginner.
Smooth casting high quality floating line. Does not cast as well as the Rio Gold XP but good for use on a backup reel.

Very good value fly line that cast well.
The Rio Mainstream fly line is reasonably priced and suits my purposes very well. Fished with it the last couple of days and encountered no issues. It really casts well. I was using dry flies most of the time and with a dropper. It doesn't come with a welded loop so take that consideration. Learn a nail knot and all good.

The line I was looking for!
This is a well-regarded brand of fly line that is generally considered a good value. Local stores did not have this line with the particular specifications I wanted, so I looked for it on Amazon and bought it there. I wanted a fly line with the specs I was accustomed to, but the stores were catering to what is currently more popular. I use a lot of other RIO products with confidence.
