I found these after using 100s of steel knives (they hardly work for a month). They work like a wonder. Sturdy and sharp, easily peels and cuts even the hardest fruits and veggies. I am never buying steel knives ever again.

For under 500 getting iron knives that are sharp is great. Remember the japanese sell similar iron knives at a premium. The grip isn't wood it's plastic. These knives are sharp be careful not to give them to children without supervision. The knives are good to cut mangoes, rather skin mangoes, they are good to cut vegetables and tender meat too. Since I am in Delhi NCR the order took more than a week to reach me, but it is well worth the wait.

I have been using it for years. Needs timely sharpening (which is a good thing). Made of iron (and not stainless steel). Very durable. Very sharp (watch out while using!).

One of the 4 knives has a crack on the steel body which is likely to injure the fingers while using and eventually may break the knife. It would have been appropriate to checkout the quality before packing, keeping up with the meticulous service provided by Anazon. Awaiting for a replacement.

The knives are sharp and remain so much longer than other branded ones that go blunt in no time. They may not look fancy, but they do the job well
