My little one loves seafood flavors and I thought she’d love this. Really good quality ingredients. not too chunky but still good sized slices of real fish in a rich looking sauce. It doesn’t have a strong “fishy” smell, it’s mild and appealing. She eats a little of it, so less picky cats will probably love it. Even though my girl isn’t excited about it, I still give it 5 stars because the quality, texture and appearance, and nutrition are all excellent. The price is worthwhile for the benefits, this is food you can feel good about feeding your kitties

My Maine Coon indoor enjoyed this flavor very much. He first left the larger chunks after licking gravy yet that's just style. I chopped up larger pieces and ge gobbled the rest. For the price (cat food is pricey) to try it for the 3 cans is a great way to sample it. I give the food he refuses to the homeless felines. I like to see this brand put together some other 3 cans for trying. I am going to check out.

My cat loves this! She is picky with taste, texture and smell. Not sure how she got so picky, considering she was a stray that ate trash before I adopted her. I have to switch her food up every now and then but for now, she gulps this down and doesn’t leave any bits left. There are chunks of fishes with nothing else and it doesn’t smell as fishy as other brands. It has gravy but is not like soup.

This might be the very best cat food I've ever given my cats. I wish I could give it more stars. This stuff is high-quality food with an emphasis on the protein and hydration cats really need. You can see actual meat or chunks of fish in this food, rather than the vaguely meaty mystery stuff you find in most canned cat foods. This food looks and smells good, even to me, and judging by my cats' reaction to it, it must taste great, too. Like most cats, they are picky and mercurial, and I never know how well they might accept a new cat food...or even a tried and true favorite, for that matter. But they seem to love this stuff. And Solid Gold is all about transparency, listing not only all the ingredients in their foods, but there's a page on their website that provides sourcing information for each one of those ingredients, so you can be sure about everything you're feeding your kitties. By the way, this company is amazing, too. I received the wrong product initially, but all it took was one quick message to Solid Gold to have a replacement order sent to me in just a couple of days. Their customer service is friendly, professional, and efficient, and the brand is excellent all around. This product costs more than other pet foods, it's true. But I would much rather pay more for good quality food now than have to pay more to the vet later. The health and happiness of my girls matters most to me, so we've switched to Solid Gold. If you are considering it, I urge you to try it, and maybe even offer it as a weekly treat, if the price to serve it daily is prohibitive. But be prepared for a lot of feline lovin', because your cats will surely thank you for it!

I always appreciate when I can make out real meat in cat food. This is very high quality. Stinks like a mofo but that's usually what attracts cats to dine. Even my pickiest eater scarfs this, and she usually doesn't care for seafood. Can size is very generous which allowed me to share a whole other serving with the stray cat that won't leave my porch. She usually gets the leftovers from my two cats' plates anyway, and on two occasions she actually ate so much she threw up. This cat is a tank and will eat anything you put in front of her, but she guzzles this to the point of regret. I would assume it is quite rich compared to the fanciest of feasts. Some vets will say that the worst wet food of them all is still better than the best dry food. I agree somewhat, but I try to avoid crappy can food when possible, and find food that includes ingredients that cats might have or once had found in the wild. This meets my expectations!

I have ordered this food before & it was a godsend for my cat who has terrible food allergies. But this arrived today in horrible shape. The outer packaging was fine BUT both of the two internal packs of 12 cans were damaged in separate ways - the one was covered dried food bits & covered in grey mold while the other was fresh in wet slop. I tried cleaning a few cans of both, but the smell of the mold and ruined food was overwhelming. I threw it all away, not a single can was salvageable. Do not DO NOT risk buying this & sending 40$ down the drain. I have no idea why, but there's no refund or return option... & I will not be purchasing this same item here EVER again - I'm going to Chewy from here on out. This was a total waste of time, money, & all. Plus it was just plain disgusting 🤢🤢🤢
