Quite sharp out of the box, but I wanted them a bit better in sharpness, about 5 minutes work and I was happy with the sharpness, For me, they are an excellent chisel.

Bardzo dobrze wykonane dłuto. Przyjechało gotowe do pracy i ostre na razie nie musiałem dodatkowo ostrzyć. Jedynie co musiałem zrobić to poprawnie osadzić metalowy pierścień (katsura) na końcu rękojeści. Przed pierwszym użyciem należy pierścień osadzić na stałe na rękojeści - tego wymagają wszystkie dłuta japońskie. Po przygotowaniu prawidłowo katsury takie dłuto będzie przystosowane są do pobijania młotkiem metalowym. Dłuta SHINTARO są godne polecenia, jestem bardzo zadowolony.
