Womens Made in Us 990 V3

This is my second pair of 990v3, I am planning on ordering 2 more pair in different colors in the next few months. They fit my feet as if they were made for them. I currently have a broken toe and they are the only shoes I can wear comfortably. I cannot praise them highly enough. I can wear them all day, every day, for every activity and my feet are still comfortable at the end of the day. Plus, they are made in the USA! Expensive, but worth it! Update 4/30/16: I now own 6 pairs of 990v3 shoes, I really love them. This is my go to shoe. I cannot say enough good about them. I own a lot of New Balance shoes, cross trainers for working out, walkers for long walks and running shoes.I am happy with all of them, but the 990v3 is my favorite. It runs a bit large so I buy 1/2 size down. We all have different feet, and we all do different activities for my feet, these shoes are totally amazing!

I love these shoes so much. I had a pair a few years ago and every shoe I have tried since just doesn't compare to these. They are perfect for running and walking or any kind of exercise for that matter. I am a very large woman so it's imperative that I have a good pair of shoes to simply walk in. My weight is very hard on my knees and ankles and these shoes keep me mobile. The fact that these are made in the USA was the deal maker for me to spend this much on shoes. I have extra wide feet so I ordered these in D width and they fit very well for me. Always look for the ENCAP on New Balance shoes because this always helps with support and the ABZORB does a great job at shock absorption. These shoes are great for someone with diabetes. I believe medicare will reimburse the purchase of them according to what I've seen on the New Balance website. These shoes are just wonderful no matter what your need is.

I had to force myself to buy this expensive of a tennis shoe--I mean really???? This is a glorified sneaker!!! But..it is also the first time I stepped into a shoe and it fit like a dream INSTANTLY! I have been having trouble with a backache, and so I was willing to experiment with most anything, even feeling like a fool to spend this kind of money. I have to say, however, that the backache has not returned, and my feet feel very comfortable in these shoes. So I give. If I have to spend this kind of money I will, as I have to be able to function in life--which is hard to do with a backache! I don't know what they do to make a tennis shoe act like a therapeutic shoe, but whatever they did, it worked. I would recommend it whole heatedly. I have no worries about striking out on a hike in these shoes (and have recently). I am sure my back will be fine. I just hope they last forever so that I don't have to think about buying them again at this price.

There was no mention anywhere in the product information that part of this purchase went towards Susan G. Komen. Very sneaky Amazon! Less than 6% of their fundraising finances goes to treatment while their CEO makes upward of $600,000 plus bonuses. Not to mention travel, living, and leisure expenses. The funds that go to research and public education are for big pharma only. If you're researching a cure, you're hurting the pockets of those that provide treatments, and will never see any of this funding! Education did not include dietary information such as abstaining from sugar (cancer's favorite food) and toxic foods. It doesn't include avoiding junk foods and eating whole organic foods. Vitamin D3 was not even mentioned. But bickering over whether radiation should come before or after chemo was discussed. How come no research into mega-dose IV vitamin C for cancer? There are studies proving its efficacy! Mammograms can cause cancer or misdiagnose too, resulting in unnecessary treatment. Thermography is safe and effective. But Komen refuses to acknowledge this while pushing mammograms. All this while pairing up with fast food restaurants to promote health and hope. Suzanne Somers cured her breast cancer with European mistletoe extract injections and even wrote a bestseller about it. I will not be pink washed! These will be returned.

Sneaker was highly recommended by many, and many who really like this sneaker had no problems with it. As for me I only wore for about 3 hours before the back of my heel started hurting and the left tongue would not stay straight making it uncomfortable to wear for me. But again, loved how they looked and if they improve the tongue issue would try again. However I just brought another New Balance sneaker - The New Balance Women's WW1765 Fitness Walking Shoe and I love them and would buy another pair if they came in a darker color for the winter months. I only buy New Balance and will continue to do so.

I have worn the New Balance 990-991-992-993 series shoes for over a decade as my main daily shoe. I am not a runner, but I am quite overweight and prone to plantar fasciitis. This shoe happens to work for my particular feet. I wear them all day, every day, and right now I am also wearing them for a walking program, for exercise. It has been a while since I wore the 990, and after wearing the 993 I wondered how the new 990 would feel. It's still great. It still fits my foot, just as it always did, in the same size, and gives me the support and cushion that I need. Maybe it gives me a little more side support than the 993 did, and it might have slightly less cushion, but basically it is almost the same shoe in my opinion and gives me what I need in a shoe. I wish these shoes were not so expensive, but in my opinion they are very high quality shoes so I guess you get what you paid for.
