Does the job, great!
I’ve always used these types of dental floss sticks and love them. This brand seems to last longer than the main brand ones I used to buy. Good value, does the job. Easy to floss all the way round with this long stick.

product description totally misleading
I used to use REACH handled flosser head with replacement Reach flossers. Needed more and couldn't get any anywhere online and in many shops. Opted for the only similar style I found [chinese] and it stated the removable head easily slides off with one finger...not so....It refused to budge and indeed broke off at the sides leaving the centre permanently wedged in the tool handle. So I tried the second handle, same thing. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY, and believe me I researched for weeks. Now I am not muscle man - in fact my hands are very weak and awaiting surgery - so thought this item would be great for me. I am forced to use the tiny disposable flossers which are difficult for me to use as I'm awaiting major hand surgery to both hands, so I obviously am unable to use the flossing threaded round my fingers and also the electronic flossing machine I bought is too heavy for my weak hands. At my next visit to the hygienist she will have her work cut out for her - as I am extremely fussy about my oral hygiene. DO NOT BUY.

it's ok
I purchased this to replace a shorter version and because it's so much better than that one, I'm giving it 4 stars. Positives: - correct length for comfortable use - the head is at the right angle - it works Negatives: - floss is a little too thin, it should have thicker floss - lightweight plastic feels cheap - on the photos it looks like it has a grey rubber grip, but actually those are literally empty holes showing the hollow handle. There is no grip, just random cut-outs in the plastic. Overall though, I'm using it daily and it's doing the job much better than some of the others I've tried. I got used to using these flossers in the States and I always struggle to find a European equivalent. The Wisdom ones just break, and nobody else makes them. This one can't compete with the big name American brands of course (those have much thicker floss and rubber grip handles), but they are far too expensive to import so I'm happy to make do with it for now. Would recommend overall.

Thin and strong.
Particularly useful for those of us with very close fitting teeth. I usually have a problem with regular flosses fraying, getting trapped and snapping. This floss is extremely thin so is perfect for me but might be less comfortable for users with more room to manoeuvre between their teeth.

I practiced dentistry for about 45 years and with advancing age and arthritis it is difficult for me to use traditional wrap around your finger floss. This brand is by far the best one of its type I have found and I have tried a lot of different brands. I use it 2-4 times a day and it is cheap enough to throw the floss part away after one or two trips around the mouth. No manufacturer that I know of has had the decency to tell you how to use them correctly so here goes my gift to civilization... a reasonable set of basic directions(feel free to add to them as you see fit. They are not engraved in stone...maybe just hard rock). 1)don't forget to floss the back part of back teeth or teeth missing a tooth behind or in front of it. Put the floss behind the tooth in front of the space and pull GENTLY BUT FIRMLY forward while going up and down Gently but Firmly several times.Repeat pushing GENTLY but FIRMLY backward on the tooth behind the space. NO toothbrush can easily or hardly reach this area. The bristles just can't be manufactured to do so nicely. 2) place the floss between teeth that touch. If it is hard to do, GENTLY bite down on it. It should slide nicely between the teeth. If not that is a problem to be addressed by your dentist quickly.Push backwards on the back tooth of the gap while going up and down several times and then pull forwards to the front tooth of the gap while going up and down several times(ALWAYS GENTLY BUT FIRMLY). If it is hard to get the floss out then simply rotate the floss towards the face and gently pull outwards and upwards. 3) if floss catches on something then something is usually REALLY REALLY BAD BAD WRONG and the area needs to be addressed by your dentist NOW just as teeth that touch way too tight together need to be.. Usually it is a filling or crown that needs to be replaced(even if you just got it yesterday) or a piece of tarter or cement still on your tooth. Once you have addressed these areas it will be a breeze to floss efficiently and quickly. Or floss while watching TV...a great way to take your time and do a super squeaky clean job.. 4)Flossing under bridges or between teeth that are bonded together is another matter to be addressed by your dentist or hygienist. 5)You don't have to floss all your teeth...just the ones you want to keep!!!!! I hope this has been helpful to some of you. Ira B. Guy DMD
