Comes with instructions, not totally straight forward but enough to put it together. Hard to keep everything in place when closing the top clear piece, helps to kind flip it at the last second so the breasts don't move down.

I used 2 sided tapes to hold parts together.

My daughter who is 9 and wants to be a midwife bought this with her birthday money. It's fantastic. It is a bit hard to put it all together and needed my help. She likes to keep it apart more then together thank goodness. The details are amazing

This is the best way to teach a toddler or young child anatomy. After taking it apart and putting it together a few times (with supervision and help), my toddler now grasps the names and functions of all of "our parts". She was curious about where babies come from and bodies in general, so this... The only (pretty insignificant) drawback is that the top-most ribs do not stay on. We just don't use them.

My daughter loves this! This is the second model that we have gotten and both are great. It is well made and the pamphlet that comes with it is very educational!

I had high hopes for this product. My 5 year old is fastinated with the human body. The product ia extremely difficult to put together as a adult and doesn't stay in place. I wouls reccomend for educational purposes only! But it is definitely not a toy.

One of the only female anatomy figures available- great visual! EXTREMELY difficult to piece and hold together, though.

I loved this model. It took me some time to put together, but it came out nicely. I wouldn't recommend it for small children, but very nice for people who enjoy studying the human body.

It's perfect and was relatively easy to put together.

Takes patience and dexterity to assemble. For the most part it looks great on my desk next to all my books. However, it took several tries to put all the components together, and hold them in place while trying to maneuver them into the clear outer body shell; but the shell would not snap tight enough and kept threatening to open - so I had to wrap and elastic band just under the breast to keep the model together (cheapens the whole look). As well, the shell does not fit snug enough to keep the parts from shifting, so the fetus falls forward into the belly cavity - partially 'mooning' the world!! LOL!! Nice details on the individual parts, and they do fit well together. The stand could be better (for the price); it is just a square of plastic and does not provide any security or stabilizing parts; but the model base sits flush; and as long as it doesn't get bumped it will not fall over - so I move it when I'm studying and spreading out on my desk, even though I bought it for my desk to serve as visual motivation. Still... it's a nice looking model and I had fun putting it together!

We wanted a human anatomy 3D teaching tool for use in a toy library. As such, we wanted something with parts that were sturdy and could be easily reused by different families. This one appealed to our members because of the foetus and pregnancy theme; however, the parts are VERY small, easy to lose, and not sure how robust they will be over the long haul. You definitely have to sit there and be the main driver with your kid for this toy. It's designed more as a "build-it-once" item than as a reuse item.
