Are these socks uncushioned? any cushioning in my socks tortures my feet!

These do not have cushion on the sole.

I have thick ankles, do these stretch?

Yes. I needed cuffs that stretched because my ankles swell and will swell more if I am wearing tight cuffs. I don't know how big you need your cuffs, but if I slouch the cuff down, I find it comfortable. The only sock that has worked for me.

Do they match with boots, combat or western models?

These are versatile and should work with most styles.

The picture is 3 white pairs but the color says white/light charcoal heather/black, which is it?

Listing is confusing - there are options for choosing the color of the three pair pack (and prices vary per color chosen), however the description color which says white/light charcoal, heather/black doesn't change based on what color is chosen in the box. Choose color as indicated in the box - I've always chosen white and that is what I receive. (Great socks, by the way!)
