I brought this book to learn/improve my holiday French and it just has all the words you need to know and a lot more. With access to the video/sound recordings you can’t go wrong. Like with all language learning you do have to put the effort in and in my opinion there is no fast pass option.

Great book! It’s substantial and has lots of content within it.

From the perspective of an English man, with very weak French, and getting on in life, the book comes with videos and audio. The amount of effort put into this alone must have taken many hours. Quick starting, light friendly vocals, backing up the written text, just started and am already impressed enough to review.

Ok in terms of exercises, but no different to many of the hundreds of books out there on the market already available. I would say the paper and print quality is not the best, especially for the price.

I hope the book will help me with my FrenchI need more books in intermediate to advanced level. Cds would be great!. Thanks 😊

The book come with online videos which follow the book, page by page. When I bought the book, I did not know this. So I was pleasently surprised when it was mention in the books preface. I thought "what a bonus"Can utterly reccommend this book

Outstanding book. Exactly what I need and was hoping for. Must-have member of "The Complete French Course - Pronunciation, Conjugation, Grammar, Vocabulary, Expressions. I started with only the Grammar book, but soon realized that I needed to use the free Study Guide for 2025 & 2026 to integrate all 5 of the books into a concurrent study schedule.I really wish I had had this series (equivalent) for teaching myself to read and write Spanish fluently years ago.Book + Video + Audio + Study Guide = Success.

This book is one of three that have been purchased by this author, and they are exceptional learning guides. I am at a high beginner's level or lower intermediate. The text is well-written, as the concepts are clearly explained and further elucidated by examples. Furthermore, the author has both audio and video lessons accompanying the books, giving the additional benefit of hearing the correct pronunciation, understanding the finer points of the lesson, and learning nuances that may not be completely covered in the book. All three components make the particular section in question easier to comprehend.The effort in producing both the audio clips and the videos for all the sections and exercises is painstaking. It speaks to Dylane's generousity in going beyond what is normally given in a textbook. She is additionally munificent in her website and the daily words she sends out, with explanations and usages, as well as lessons. Her webpage is full of useful information on grammar and vocabulary. Her work is the best of the many French books that I have read.
