Removing the pin activates the alarm which makes it very easy to operate even in a panic situation when one may not be able to scream and the alarm can only be disabled by reinserting the pin which takes a bit of care. This alarm cannot easily be disabled by the assailant. An attacker's greatest fear is attention being drawn to their crimes and that is why carrying the alarm is one of the ways to keep you the safe and secure. We realize that the biggest reason people do not bring the alarm with them is because it can be a nuisance to carry and manage. Our alarm contains both a belt clip and a keychain with a key ring so it can easily be attached to just about any piece of clothing. Moreover the alarm runs on replaceable LR-44 which are included and pre installed in the alarm. Additionally, the alarm needs to be loud to scare of an attacker and our alarm clocks in at 120 DB which among the loudest on the market.
