GREAT MEMORIES
I took a ride down memory lane with Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, Velma and Scooby Doo. Watching this show as a kid was just fun entertainment and that has not changed. The complete set is worth the purchase because there were so many celebrities who contributed to the success of this show with their fantastic voice acting. Also, the characters and how they relate to one another makes so much sense all these years later. Hanna-Barbera always succeeded at providing quality animated family entertainment and Scooby Doo Where Are You? is a cornerstone of their product.

O**!
Classic 60’s era TV! Great fun for kids of all ages.
The animation, colors, music, characters, and stories are as good as I remembered it, but there is a laugh track, which I wouldn’t have noticed as a kid. I’ve grown weary of shows with laugh tracks to signal when something is supposed to be funny, which is why I only give Scooby 4 stars, instead of 5. In addition to the 25 episodes of seasons 1 and 2 of the “Scooby Doo, Where Are You!” show from 1969-1970, this set also contains three discs with 16 episodes of the “The Scooby Doo Show” from the late 70’s, which they call season 3. All of the discs are in one oversize plastic snap case. The music of season 3 is different and not as good as the music of the original show, and the episodes of season 3 aren’t as good as the original 60’s version show, but still, the extra 16 episodes are a nice bonus since I only expected to get the 25 episodes of the original show. Scooby is a great addition to my disc collection, which is quite large, although I own less than ten animated shows. I prefer live action TV series over most animated shows. The following animated TV series made the cut. They are all unique, fun shows. The Jetsons (1962-1963), Jonny Quest (1964-1965), Scooby Doo, Where are You! (1969-1970), The Flintstones (1960-1966), Cowboy Bebop (1998-1999), 3-2-1 Penguins! (2006-2008), and Steins;gate (2011). I’ve wanted to add Planetes (2003-2004) to my collection for years, but I’ve never been able to find the complete series on region 1 Blu-ray or DVD for a reasonable price. I was able to buy both the Blu-ray and DVD discs for Steins;gate at a low price. All of the Blu-ray and DVD discs came in the same Blu-ray plastic snap case. Brilliant. I wish I could buy all series in both Blu-ray and DVD with the discs all in one Blu-ray plastic snap case like my Steins;gate package came in. A 5 star show in a 5 star Blu-ray/DVD combo pack. I’ve considered buying some of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection volumes but I watched so many of them as a kid I just don’t have a burning desire to see them again. Miles From Tomorrowland (aka Mission Force One) started off as a fun adventure show with a great theme song and a high IMDb rating (8+) in 2015 when I first watched the show, like Final Space (2018-) enjoys now. Then the ratings plummeted as the show went on, and then Disney changed the name to Mission Force One to really muck things up. I might buy the show if Disney ever releases a complete collection of the series at a reasonable price with the original name (Miles From Tomorrowland) on the Blu-ray or DVD package. One of the dozen or so Supernatural (2005- ) episodes I’ve watched was the ScoobyNatural episode, season 13, episode 16. Good classic Scooby Doo Fun!
