Perfect book for one my students who is new to guitar and a huge Beatles fan! This book must have darn near every Beatles song ever released! It's always motivating to have songs that you love to make practicing more fun and compelling!

I love Beatles music and found this great book over 20 years ago and used it to help teach myself to play guitar. The book has easy to read chord fingerings and knowing how the song goes it made it easy to learn. I bought this for my brother so he hopefully can do the same thing. I have bought other music books that were much harder to read and understand. This one is perfect for me, hope it will be for you.

What can I say except that this book allows me to more fully find my way of expressing this great music. I don't attempt to recreate the phenomenal talent and production values of the originals, but try to adapt the songs that, when they came out truly influenced the way I thought, felt, and perceived the world around me and the interaction of music with it. I've "played" many of the songs before, more or less by ear and following the playing of those I played with and listened to, but having the words and music together in front of me, I can play around with melody and expression to bring some of the feeling evoked by the music as and when I first experienced it. Truly enjoyable.

If you are a Beatles fan and beginning guitar player this is a great book. The arrangements are mostly first postion and it has nearly every Beatles song. It is an "easy guitar" book so if you are looking for arrangements that sound like the records this is not the book. If you are looking for arrangements you can play for something you know to make practice and learning more interesting this is the perfect book for Beatles fans. All the songs are very playable by beginning guitarists once you learn the notes in first postion. The songs are all in music notation (no tabs in this one) so if you don't read music look elsewhere. If you just want to be able to play Beatles songs that your friends will recognize and can sing along with, this is a great book.

A roommate of mine owned this book and I fell in love. Contains all of their really good hits almost. Has the full Revolver, Rubber Soul, Sgt. Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, and even earlier pop albums with Hard Day's Night and Can't Buy Me Love. It's honestly a MUST have for big Beatles fans, even if you only play piano, I recommend buying it and getting creative. I'd even recommend buying it for a friend who plays, more Beatles for you and and your friends to play. Don't waste time with reading/printing free guitar music online, these are the correct notes and tabs

The songbook has all the tunes I was looking for from the Beatles, so I gave it 3 stars for the song list. But if you are a beginner, as I am, looking for something you can learn to play with basic skills, this isn't it. The easy part comes from presenting the songs rearranged with mostly open chord forms, which of course makes it simpler for chord progressions vs. the originals' barre chords. But that's it. Time signature notation is mostly in symbol form on the stanzas that provide the music for the corresponding lyrics. Tempos are not noted, and you'll also need to be able to glean your own strumming patterns, too, because they aren't there either. For me, "easy" would mean strumming notation on a stanza, or at least a strumming pattern to get you started. Instead, that space is devoted to placing chord forms under every chord, floating above the stanza. So you're never left guessing how you form those tricky E-minors...just everything you're supposed to do with them. Without numerical time signatures, tempos, and strumming patterns, it's hard for me to consider this songbook "complete" and "easy".

The delivery was a little bit longer than I expected, but with what’s been happening throughout the world that’s to be expected. The book itself it’s missing some very important songs in it. So it’s not really (THE BEETLES COMPLETE ). One of the songs, I want to hold your hand is not in the book, that’s just one. Plus not all of the songs show the introduction. But overall it’s a good book.

Although this is an "Easy Guitar" version of the Beatles Songs, I have owned the printed version for several years and have always found it to be a useful launch pad for experimenting with the collection of Beatles songs in different fretboard positions, whilst modifying the basic chords to suit my own personal interpretations. I was therefore presently surprised to find it accessible as a Kindle download, which allows for more flexible access. It is one of many Beatles guitar books in my collection which represent different levels of complexity, some of which have been based on the actual recorded versions and others which come pretty close, although it would not be true to say that this is the case with this particular one. However, it does serve another very important purpose by providing just the absolute basics of melody and chord progressions necessary for those wishing to evolve an approach to playing Beatles guitar music, without being overwhelmed .

Quite straight forward although missing a comprehensive legent for interpreting the symbols.
