They do what they are supposed to do. They grip well on both sides if you aren't using the plastic pin and do not slide.

My wife likes to paint my little wood projects. She asked if I would pick something up to help her with painting,and she really likes them.

If you need clamps for gluing, then use a clamp. If you use clamps to hold the work piece firmly to the surface while you work on it, use these instead! They are super easy to use and easy to relocate quickly, unlike clamps that require attaching and screwing firmly in place. They sit under the work piece, where they don't get in the way of your arms or the saw/router/sander/tool you're using, and hold the piece remarkably firmly in place, in spite of the forces placed on it. I've already ordered a second set and am still very impressed with the grip they exert on the work piece. I can't compare the grip versus bench cookies as I don't own any bench cookies but these are a fraction of the cost of bench cookies and seem to do everything bench cookies claim to do, and they work extremely well. Highly recommended!

These work great but the little points that come with them for paint or stain application are loose and it took me all of 3 days to lose two of them

The product works well elevating the work pieces and holding the work steady and no slipping. The small pins are easy to loose. Just keep them close by.

I was worried about how well these grippers could grab the wood that I wanted to sand. but to my surprise, they did a good job without using clamps. Just clean it with water after use, good as new.

Using these for my kitchen cutting board. Stacked 2-high under the board in 4 places - raises the board by almost an inch so it's high enough for my 5'10" frame AND keeps the board from sliding around the countertop. I keep the cutting board on these all the time so essentially use it as a higher countertop. These cookies are better than the kind with the separate layer of rubbery stuff on the top and the bottom - because that eventually comes off. This material is sticky on its own and doesn't need those extra layers. Plus you can stack them easily for whatever height you need. Perfect for this application. So happy to not be stooping over the counter in the kitchen and not having the cutting board slide around!!

These little things really work -- I was surprised at how well. I used them on my kitchen countertop to steady a couple of cutting boards as I was applying board conditioner. The boards did not slide around at all. I did all sides, so I inserted the little black points to raise the face off the counter to let the boards dry overnight. Great stuff! I also used these on my workbench top, which is plywood and a little textured, so I didn't expect good results. Again, surprised -- the bench grippers really worked! Cool beans!

Purchased for future project, look and feel sturdy and I expect they will perform as intended.
