I made ~100 stones and they are still in great shape. I used baby oil for the release agent. I built a shake table to minimize bubbles in the cement which worked far better that trying to manually shake them out. I used a heat gun on low careful not to distort the mold to help with getting the mold to let go of the stone. Clean the cured cement left behind right away after dropping the stones and you will have a much easier time than if you wait for when you need to pour again. The end product looks amazing. The large molds are somewhat thin in the middle creating broken tiles. To solve this issue I used two layers of hardware cloth cut just slightly smaller in length and width. Pour half way up with your concrete add hardware cloth and finish filling the mold. Always tip your tile on its side lengthwise before picking it up (while still curing) and you won't accidentally break a tile in half. I'm using canola oil as the release agent brushed on with a paint brush. Its a chore to make only 9 per day, I'll likely buy another set.
