Fantastic product, great control options and attachments. Well worth the purchase

After charging for 4 hours as recommended the unit quickly ran down after 2 minutes and got very hot to hold. The drive impulses were also a bit erratic. Returned for refund. Gave a 1 star review. Follow_up: After returning the unit I was contacted by the Customer service department and offered a replacement unit which I accepted. This arrived quickly and is working very well. I checked the charging and operation and am very happy with it. Cannot fault the company's desire to offer a good service and their committment to keep customers happy. I would then rate it at 5 stars.

Whilst the instruction manual is terribly written the product itself is very self explanitory, the battery life isn't half what you'd expect when it recommends to use the gun for 15-30 minutes at a time (which is bad advice anyway, you only need a minute or two per muscle group depending on whether you're pre- or post-workout. The actual build of the gun is sturdy and the materials are good quality, the heads are made of quite a thin plastic but are well rendered and are strong enough that it would be difficult to damage them unless grossly mishandled. I would recommend this gun to anyone thinking of buying one as comparing price with functionality the value is very good.

I purchased the massage gun and it worked without problem. After using it when needed. I stopped using it for a while, a couple of months. It was then required to be used again after fully charging it and checking the the information on the display screen showed fully charged, I unplugged it and it would not turn on. It no longer turns on. It cannot be returned it I have owned it for over 1 year.. I will not replace with the same model.

Great purchase

To begin, I don't have anything to compare it to as I have not tried other massage guns. However, what I can say is that this gun is very powerful, has good battery life, and is very quiet! I work out regularly (crossfit, sports, running, hiking) and often get sore. I just got this gun and it has been very therapeutic for me. It is much better and easier than a massage. And it does not require substantial force with your hand, which is what I was concerned about. Furthermore, it is VERY quiet (seems quieter than the videos I have seen for theragun and others). It is a good price and does the job well. It is high quality. I am a physician and had a substantial discount on theragun during the shelter in place promo, but I still believe this does the job and is less than 1/3 the cost even with my discount. So far, I highly recommend. Will update review if anything changes.

After using the ALDOM for over a month now, I feel confident that this massage gun will last the long haul, unlike other massage guns I have tried. I should also clarify that this is from the perspective of someone using it for both recovery from a workout session (sometimes too hard), and also dealing with extended sedentary periods of activity in the workplace. I have no health problems, and specifically use this gun as a preventative measure to avoid the very real issues I see others have around me (particularly in the workplace). The motors are a lot quieter than other guns. It is not dead silent, but operates at a quiet humming volume rather than the jackhammer/kitchen appliance noise that other guns make. The variable steps of vibration strength are broad enough that you can find the sweet spot you need without going up massive increments leaving you with a situation that might be too strong or too weak. Another nice little touch I have come to appreciate, as adjusting 1 or 2 steps during a massage (usually "down" near the end) is helping me get an even better results for recovery. The display for settings is simple and effective. The way it displays battery life is also simple... that aspect could be better, but honestly, that would be a minor convenience. Everything that this massage gun "needs" to do, it does... and it does it very well. The good, reliable battery life means that I am using this gun a lot more regularly than the others I have owned before, and that all comes down to the fact that it works so well. The carry case, housing all of your gun tips/etc. is another perk, keeping everything together, and tidy. I've tried several other massage guns that are louder than expected, come with a strange chemical smell on the massage tips (not the ALDOM), have no way of knowing the battery life until it actually dies on you, and the battery life itself magically disappears after the first couple of charges leaving you with a device that can only hold a charge for 60 seconds before dying (poor quality batteries purposely installed to force you to buy an entirely new device). This ALDOM gun looks like it is going to be the last time I have to buy a massage gun. I got the carbon fibre looking one, but really, its the exact same gun as the plain black one... purely a cosmetic choice. Build quality of the gun itself is also very good. Very solid, with good quality plastic that does not feel like it will crack/split from use (also... other guns have felt cheap like that, but they didn't have a chance to split because the battery failed long before that could happen). Very happy with this purchase, Highly Recommended!!!

This product was absolutely worth the price. A physiotherapy session, which of course will be better, costs almost as much as this massager does. Putting that into perspective, having this massager to maintain your muscles, protecting yourself from injury or healing after one, will save you money and time. It has excellent build quality and nothing on the massager feels like it was lousily designed or cheap. Its touch buttons make it very simple to use (you do not need to press them, just touch). The variety of heads allow for more specific massages and swapping between them is quick and easy. I prefer the round head for its general use but the two-pronged head for the spine is amazing. The battery life also is wonderful. I can use this for hours at a time on max output for a few days before needing to recharge. It also comes in a convenient case if you choose to take it with you. If you use this massager or any, expect to be sore the next day at least the first time you use it. That is perfectly normal. For the best effects, COMBINE THIS WITH STRETCHES. What works best for my strength oriented workouts is to do dynamic stretches before the workout. After my workout, I come home and have my supplements and use the massager. Once my muscles are loosened, I stretch. I have found this method to be most effective. My recovery times are much quicker and I am much more flexible. I always prefer to review a product like this after it has seen some use and I am wholly satisfied with it.
