I need to convert 220v 60htz to 220v 50htz for use on record turntables, please recommend suitable unit, thanks.

The model you selected has capacity of 8.4 Amps, which should be sufficient to run a turntable
input/output specs.
Input Range: 180Vac-285Vac, Input Frequency: 50Hz/60Hz
Output: 100V-110V-115V-120V (Selectable), Output Frequency: 50Hz/60Hz (Selectable)

You can have the input of 60 Hz and select output on the LCD screen to 50 Hz.
However output voltage is limited to 120 volts. You will need to purchase a standard Step-Up booster transformer with min 1000-1,500 Watts output to be able to produce 220 v 50 Hz

Is this unit be used in the Philippines or will it require a mains adapter ?

From my understanding , The Philippines has 220 Volt 60 Hz and 120 v 60 Hz as mains , 220 volt  wiring there is similar to USA , not Europe, but this you need to your local electrician. 
In any case, if you wish to simply change to voltage from 220 volt to 120 volts both side being 60 Hz, then you don't need a converter, just a simple step down transformer.

I want to ensure this produce will take 220v input/50hz (iceland) and step to 120v/60hz to run 116w to run u.s. purchased appliance in iceland?

Yes, This model will produce 120 volts 60Hz output. From input of 220 Volts/ 50 Hz.
Please note, the maximum output for this unit is 8.4 Amps. Please check your total requirements and make sure they don’t exceed 8.4 Amps. If you need more output power we have other models, up to 21.8 Amps output.
