It is the perfect size and not bulky!
The 60-can beverage refrigerator is the perfect size for compact spaces, and its adjustable shelves allow for convenient customization. The cooling performance is excellent, and it can likely hold more than 60 cans, which is a great bonus. However, the downside is that with all shelves in, it cannot accommodate bottles, limiting its versatility. Nevertheless, if you primarily need a reliable and efficient cooler for canned beverages, this refrigerator is a fantastic choice. I was very pleased that it fit nicely even if it’s not built in bc the other ones were too bulky and looked more like an afterthought. This one, I think looks great at the end of the cabinet. Also it’s quiet too! We are thinking of getting a nugget ice maker to go on top of it and are very pleased with it so far!

High quality unit with a lot of storage.
We had a unique 12 inch space in our kitchen cabinets after removing an old garbage compactor. This fridge fit the space perfectly. It was just delivered yesterday but seems to be high quality and cooled quickly and quietly. There is also a lot of storage for a smaller fridge.

Freed up space in our main fridge again
This narrow fridge worked out perfect. I had a small narrow cabinet beside the dishwasher space that wasn't getting much use so I tore it out and kept the outer panel as a finishing panel. Slid it over 3 inches and made enough room to fit the fridge and a new dishwasher. Fridge came delivered by 3 amazon drivers and is double boxed to prevent damage. I let it sit for a couple hours after unboxing before powering it up. Set at 38 keeps the drinks cold and compressor is pretty quiet. I like that it vents the heat from the compressor out the front so hopefully this will last longer than the small college style fridge we had where the dishwasher went. Plus is we got a dishwasher again and fridge. No issues with both running on the same circuit. Fridge holds a lot of drinks and even large juice bottles with cans behind them. Fridge has a light you can turn on and off but its not automatic. We don't use the light as there's not really a reason we need to advertise what's inside.

Great addition to the kitchen
This is a really nice looking cooler for the kitchen. There is a light inside that brightens the interior so you can see what is inside. It is very well made and sturdy, no moving around on the floor. It's a luxury to have a separate unit to keep all your favorite drinks cold and thereby leaving more space for other items in your main refrigerator. A strong thumbs up for this product.

Well Designed, Well Built, Impressive look and style – but a couple of warts
I have had this unit for about 10 days and I am very satisfied with it both in its design and operation. It appears to be built with quality materials and performs very well even with a full product load. I consider the unit that I have to be very quiet, in my opinion you wouldn’t even notice it in a kitchen, rec room, or office environment. In fact, it is so quiet that I had to be very intentional when listening for it to cycle (other reviewers have found these coolers to be noisy, so that may vary based on several factors). The refrigeration unit appears to be sized right to provide for quick cool down and maintenance of the desired setpoint. The interior is well lit and has a nice sleek clean look. The shelves are very sturdy and easily pull in and out while supporting a full load of cans. SO, WHAT’S THE PROBLEM – Although the unit was packed very well with a dual boxing strategy that for the most part protected the unit, it appears that they don’t know what to do with the handle in order to secure it properly for shipping. In my case the handle was taped in a plastic sleeve to the back of the unit and it had either slid down or had been intentionally wedged into the compressor compartment where it could potentially damage electrical components or refrigeration lines. While I did NOT see any damage like that, you can clearly see in the pictures that the handle did make an indentation in the rear of the unit. This appears to only be a cosmetic issue, that in most applications will never be seen. Still, I don’t expect to pay $400 for a piece of equipment and have it damaged due to poor packaging. Another issue that caused me concern was that when you set the temperature, that is the temperature that is ALWAYS displayed on the unit. It does not show you the true internal temperature despite the fact that on page 10 of the Instruction Manual it clearly states that after the temperature is set, the display will flash four times and then show the internal temperature of the cooler. When I change the setpoint, it will flash the four times, but ALWAYS shows the setpoint and not the true internal temperature. I was concerned that this might be symptomatic of some more serious issue and I sent an email to customer support regarding this. I received a response within 24 hours (good for them) asking for some additional information and then they again promptly responded with the following information: Please note that what you are seeing is actually standard behavior for most beverage refrigerators. The control panel is designed to display the set temperature (your selected target temperature) rather than the real-time internal cabinet temperature. The internal temperature naturally rises and falls slightly as the compressor cycles on and off to maintain that setpoint. I find this undesirable, because I want to know what the internal temperature is without having to place a separate thermometer in the unit. The information that I received from customer support clearly contradicts what the supplied documentation states. By the way, the documentation is dated 2023 so I would assume that engineering changes don’t always include documentation revision, a big NO NO in my book. Aside from these annoying issues, I still believe this is a well designed and built cooler and if I had another application for a similar one, I would certainly consider Whynter. It is a disappointment that a reputable company will let a few easily resolved issues cause concern, frustration and dissatisfaction for their customers. The attached photos show how the handle was positioned for shipping and the damage it caused to the back of the unit plus a couple of pictures showing how nice this unit looks in my application

Working great!
Have had the cooler for about 6 months now and working great...keeps everything really cold. No noise issues, quiet. Looks great in the space where the old trash compactor was...super happy with the purchase so far and recommend!

Junk
We’ve had this fridge for less than 18 months. Within the first few months it showed an error. We contact support, but the error fixed itself. They did nothing to help. Then recently it continues to show errors. We have been in contact with support via email over the last month or so. They are not helpful and do not stand behind their product. They expect us to ship them a fridge across the country at our expense to *maybe* have them fix it. Super frustrated that the fridge didn’t even last a year and half. Zeros stars. Do not recommend.
