BUYER BEWARE!!! Worked Great... for about 5 months then failed!
Must have for wireless mouse. It worked great for about 5 months then I get an error/failed usb message. I moved the mouse to a different computer to verify mouse or docking station failure and mouse worked fine so there is no warranty past 30 days, Suggest you look elsewhere = BUYER BEWARE

The station worked well for 6 weeks and then just quit. After a lot of help from the seller the issues were resolved and I am happy with the product

Awesome addition to the Surface Pro line!
I bought my Surface Pro 8 to be an enhancement to my daily life. Being able to watch video, take trainings online, check and draft emails, share my work with colleagues, all from a slim and small form factor is great. This item adds functionality that I find important to completing my tasks with ease. Need to share a PowerPoint to a TV via HDMIโฆ done. Need to use USB B or C to store documents on a flash driveโฆ done. Need to to perform CRUD operations on items stored on external SD cards and devices.. done. This item is a must have if you are using the MS Surface Pro line!

he two mini-USB male connectors have loosened and shifted inward
The two mini-USB male connectors have loosened and shifted inward, causing them to wobble. As a result, they cannot be fully inserted into the Surface mini-USB ports. I rarely remove this adapter, and it remains connected to the laptop most of the time. The Surface is used only on a desk and is rarely moved. After only three months of use, the adapter is already showing clear quality issues. The loose mini-USB connectors are causing unreliable and inconsistent connections.

INSERT and READY-TO-GO !!
I took it out of the box an hour after delivery. Very easy to insert Docking Station. Immediately, inserted my headphones in Audio jack and computer desk light in a USB port. Total setup-to-use less than a minute. Now, listening to music while desk light charges. Totally compatible with Surface Pro 9. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!

Works just fine on my new SP9
The only interesting thing is that for it to fit snugly into the USB-C ports on the side of the SP9 screen, I needed to install it โupside downโ, meaning the labels for the ports were now facing away from the scree . Not a big deal, just a curiosity. Functionakity is perfect.

As described, all ports works well. Great fit for Surface Pro 8. I got the black one to match my laptop but its available as well in silver color.
