Has anyone used this brace while crocheting? My current brace is not comfortable when crocheting so I am trying to find something that will work.

I use these braces at night for my carpal tunnel. They really work for helping with carpal tunnel. So glad I found these braces. I agree with the other answer -- I think you could work on making the thumb size larger in the brace.

How does this hold up when your working? I do a lot of outdoor work and also drive for a living and need something that is going to last.

they are monsters...if anything will hold up they will....wask? but could surely wipe off....good luck

what is the fabric? it looks glove-like, like maybe neoprene but thinner? Anyone know?

I don't know if it is brand-name Neoprene, but it's similar. It's a thin foam core sandwiched between two layers of elastic fabric, slightly less than 1/8 inch thick.
