Autel MaxiSYS MS906 MAX Scanner, 2026 10.1" MS906MAX Larger Than MS906 PRO

I’ve been very happy with the Autel MS906 MAX so far. One of the first things I noticed was the larger screen, which makes everything much easier to read and navigate, especially when looking through diagnostic information and live data. The unit itself feels very solid and well built. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all, and it has a nice professional feel to it. The included case is also very good quality and has extra room for the charger and additional accessories, which is a nice touch and makes it easier to keep everything organized in one place. The menus are easy to navigate, and vehicle communication has been quick and straightforward in my experience. Autel’s customer service has also been very good. They’ve been responsive and helpful when I’ve needed assistance. One thing I would recommend is buying a screen protector. With a screen this size, I think it’s worth having the extra protection. Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with the MS906 MAX and would recommend it to anyone looking for a capable, well-built diagnostic scanner. I'll update if anything changes.

This has pretty good utility. When I power up the unit, it always comes up with updates for anything installed related to the scanner functions. I bought this primarily to perform manual DPF regens in my driveway, rather than burning up miles on the truck doing the dynamic regen. I have not had any issues related to this scanner regarding the DPF regens and has everything I need to interface with the computers in the truck. I like the fact that it comes equipped with interface for most vehicles. I think I will be using this for quite a long time to interface with all my vehicles. Since vehicle repair cannot be accomplished without some kind of computer interface now, this is an essential tool.

As a long time Snap-On user, I was pleasantly surprised that this tool easily performs all typical scan tool operations, AND has add-ons like a DSO (scope), battery tester, TPMS, J-box (J2534 pass through). And the bluetooth dongle for the DLC as well. For the price of an Apollo D9, I could buy this little tablet, and all the peripherals, and still have money left over to do crazy things......like eat..... and pay rent..... OR I could help my Snap On tool rep get rich instead. Simple choice. I still have the SnapOn Apollo, and the $1000/yr upgrades, but this MS906BT is now my "go to" choice. It's worth the time spent learning this new tool to save diagnostic time and hard cash that is harder and harder to come by. I would absolutely recommend this to seasoned pros like myself (35 years), and to anyone just starting out. Plus the support is stellar!! Much better/quicker than the current issues I face with my other scan tools "support". Aren't you tired of listening to "20 minutes on hold" music? Choose this tool, instead. Keith.

Great product received it on time works as expected

Warning! My scanner is coming with locked South America Region. Cannot change to North America myself. Still in the process of trying to change the region with Autel. It will limited some functionality of the Scanner if you try to programs or adas. Otherwise really great and fast scanner for its price. Pic compare my old Ms908Pro to the new 906max.

I’ve owned multiple scanners throughout my 30 years of life, and this one is the best by far. If you’re working on newer Cars from the years 2015+ this is the best Scanner all around. Cheap Scanners work for basic necessities but when it comes to Hybrid vehicles or New cars with multiple ECUs , this is a No brainer. I’ve fixed airbags ECUs, Hybrid Systems, programmed traction control Glitches, ABS, and many more things with this Scanner. Highly Recommend it. It has helped my Automotive Business immensely.

For one, good luck trying to speak to anyone in so called tech support. It must be a mom a pop business. The tool TPMS programming is useless unless you use their sensors. IMMO key programmer on older less costly models are more efficient than this MS906 PRO-TS model. I would look into a Snapon scan tool instead. You will pay a lot more. But well worth the cost.

I am happy with my purchase of the Autel MS906 PRO-TS so far. I haven’t had the opportunity to explore all of its features yet but it has been very helpful with the few engine and specialty (evap system, heated seat module, airbag warning system) diagnostics that I have done. I was also able to program a new key for a 2010 Grand Cherokee. I wasn’t expecting it to be so easy after obtaining the vehicle PIN code from the dealership. It is definitely an improvement to my previous scan tool. I’ve recommended this product to a colleague and he purchased one too. I noticed that not all features are available depending on the vehicle’s year, make, and model. I wasn’t able to diagnose a misfire or determine which cylinder was misfiring on a very old Honda Accord. But definitely more beneficial for newer vehicles.
