If fits
Fits my kindle gen 8 perfectly. The power button and charging portage easily accessible. My old silicone cover became kinda grungy looking, so I tried going without but the power button is to easy to bump and accidentally turn off. So searched for a new cover and came up with this one. Problem solved.

This case does not fit the 10th generation kindle. It is lose where the charger is.

Good Replacement for the old Nook
Easy to load new books through Amazon. Easy on the eyes. Intuitive page turning. Loved the Nook I bought 10 years ago—chose to replace it with Amazon’s version during the Prime day sale after the Nook side buttons started to stick and turn multiple pages at a time. Hope the kindle will last 10 years, so far so good for these first few months.
