I am very happy with the purchase and the price.
great product for a reasonable price. I replaces a Cuisinart 9 cup processor that had the activation rocker break off making it inoperable. The kitchen aid seems to be better built and attachments seem rugged. Most importantly the processor works great. The blades are very sharp its easy to assemble and the storage compartment feature keeps all the attachments in one place.

Awesome product!
Love this!!! Chops like a dream! Blended a whole bag of garlic and then made hummus in this! Works like a dream!

Solid construction but not perfect
Pros: Simple On/Off toggle switches, smooth bowl interior that’s easy to get all food out with spatula, all attachments stack inside for storage. Cons: pusher (?) is shaped so that it can fit in chute only one way - not convenient when your quickly inserting food into chute to shred and you grab pusher the wrong way. Pusher comes in 2 parts, including one that fits in center hole for carrots. If blending liquid, you need both parts to prevent splashing up. Would be nice to have additional piece of one solid pusher that can double as measuring cup. The last thing is when you open the hinged lid, the pusher easily falls out of the shoot. The first time I went to use this food processor, I almost broke the pusher twice.

Great product. I did have a struggle using the shredder blade the first time. Hopefully, next time it will be easier. The zucchini kept falling down onto the blade instead of being cut.

Just DO it!
Forget Marty McFly, this is a dream machine. Easy to clean, easy to lift lid off for access to empty or clean, consistent chop size, or mince size instead of variable chunk sizes, easy compact storage. Fast, strong. Can replace a husband in my book. Lol. I feel really spoiled with this machine. (I am pretty sure the color red I chose makes it go even faster)… lol. Anyway, good investment.

Great unit and the onboard blade storage it really nice
So I got this for my wife to replace her 20 year old kitchenaid food processor. This new one has several advantages over the old one. 1. The motor noise is much lower, It's pretty quiet compared to the old one and just seems quiet in general. We'll see if that holds up longer term but I was impressed by the sound level. 2. The blade storage system is really nice. The old unit just didn't have a way to easily stack the blades and accessories inside the bowl. The jumble of parts made cut fingers a risk so we just didn't do it. The main blades stayed in but the rest of the parts were stored somewhere else. 3. Power seems really good. My wife has done some bread dough and a few other things so far and she's commented several times on how well it worked. 4. The bowl just lifts off. compared to the old one with it rotate and lift setup its just a little more convenient and easier to use. Only thing to get used to is the latching and safety systems. They're not bad but the lid has to be FIRMLY latched down to energize the unit. She had a couple of times where the lid was down and the rubber seal engaged but it wasn't down that last 2-3 millimeters to the latch was fully caught and the unit wasn't running. She asked me to look at it and for a minute I thought the breaker had tripped before I figured out the latch wasn't down 100%. Not a huge deal and once you figure it out you know to double check it but it's something to be aware of. In our case the problem was made worse because the power cord for the coffee machine on the other side of the kitchen island had gotten a little loose and the coffee maker wouldn't turn on. So initially it seemed like the power to the island was out all the way.

1 Year Update - It's worse than I thought
ONE YEAR LATER: I'm still disgusted with this food processor. As stated in my original review - IT'S CHEAPLY MADE. In less than 1 year, I had to replace the bowl. The flimsy handle created a problem with the screws on the bottom & the connection was lost - the blender stopped working. Since it was within the one year warranty - Kitchenaid replaced the bowl. I'm a baker. If you like to bake and make pie crust, this food processor is a nightmare. The bowl is too deep & the blender doesn't pull from the bottom well enough to mix the butter before it starts to soften. Speed is key when using cold butter or other cold ingredients. You can see the different grades of mixing when using this for crust of other grainy mixes. I have to knead by hand to get the dough well blended. It's also terrible for cookie dough & bread dough. Again, the bowl is too high & doesn't blend well. It shakes when using for tough batches. It's great for dry ingredients or for use for 2-3 cups. I will be buying another food processor bc this one is horrible for my needs. I purchased this food processor before Christmas 2022. I had a Cuisinart for 15 years that I loved. The lid broke and it would’ve cost me almost half the price of a new one. I decided it was time to buy a new food processor. I have several KitchenAid products that I have had for 15 to 18 years. I love my stand up blender and I would never trade it in. I love my immersion blender and use it all the time. Both have stood up over the years. The obvious choice for me was to buy a KitchenAid food processor because the brand has always been reliable. When looking at the pictures on Amazon, I was not incredibly impressed with the design. I decided to go with the brand that has always been good to me, the KitchenAid. When I took the product out of the box, I was still not impressed with the design. The first time I used it, I was happy bc it has the power I need. Fast forward…. Now that I’ve used it a few times, I’m incredibly disappointed with the construction. The plastic is cheap , the handle on the bowl is incredibly flimsy, the bowl itself is a thin cheap plastic, and the lock looks like something you would see on a child’s toy. I love the power that this food processor has. It does the job that I need it to do but I’m waiting for it to fall apart in my hands. I’m at a tipping point - I’m considering packing it up and sending it back. The lesson that I’ve learned from buying this product is that nothing is made to last anymore. In the future when purchasing an appliance I will go to the store, look at several brands, touch them, take them apart and evaluate the construction before I purchase anything online. Would I recommend this product? I don’t think so. I’m incredibly disappointed in the construction.
