Excellent product once you figure out how to use it
Despite very difficult setup procedures, and an app that was clearly designed for iPhone only and was not properly adapted to Android, this is an excellent product. It is very well made and accurate. The other connected glucometer sold on Amazon is also well made, but completely inaccurate and therefore useless. This is one you can count on - once you figure out how to use it, which is not very easy. The lancing pen and case are great - but there is no place for lancets. This is the best connected glucometer I've seen, and the only usable one in my opinion. I threw the other one away and kept only the nice case, since the case of this one is also useless.

Great little test kit that looks cool!
This kit looks great, just wish it was metal and not plastic but that’s not a deal breaker. It would be great if it had a slot to hold lancets but you could just throw a few in the test strip container. Otherwise this set works well and provides quick, accurate results which I can seamlessly Bluetooth to my phone app. Nice!

Love this thing!
Ok, this is the third time leaving a review for this One Drop item, hopefully third time’s a charm and it will actually stay up. I love this thing, it works super well. From the case to the meter, right down to the lancing device. The meter needs only a small sample which I appreciate a lot. The lancing device makes for a very painless stick. You can, of course, change the depth but so far I’ve hardly felt anything, especially with my using the side of my fingers. The case holds everything together nicely though I find it a little big, height and width wise. But with that said, the thickness makes it perfect for packing away in a backpack or anything that would benefit from flat packing. There’s not much else to say about this thing, the rest is just as described.

THIS IS UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE!
With all my expectations that this one will work better than all the others I have tried, I was totally and thoroughly disappointed! It would be simpler just to list why I feel this way after just receiving this thing literally just 30 minutes ago despite the fancy package! 1. Before I even opened the box I heard rattling inside the box. Much to my surprise once the box was opened it was the meter that was tossing around in the box and was thoroughly scratched. 2. The material meter and the lancet device is made from his cheap plastic that looks, after just a few minutes of touching it, like you had it for 10 years already! I actually thought that it had that dull protective plastic coating on - it did not! 3. The display is even smaller than it appears in the ad on Facebook, and is very dull and very dark! In any sort of bright light like sunlight, don't even try to read this thing! 4. When trying to open the Lancet device to load a Lancet, I thought there was a trick to it because it was so incredibly hard to get open, and because it's made out of cheap and slippery plastic (shiny) when I did manage to get it open it went flying across the room! 5. This thing has absolutely no Quickstart instructions in the box. You have to go online to read set up which is a thorough pain in the ass! 6. The worst part is the Bluetooth. I have a three month old Samsung S22 Ultra, the app will not work. It keeps shutting down before the phone has a chance to pair with the meter. Upon checking with Samsung, they agreed this app will not work or work consistently - a convenient little fact that was left out of the ad. If this thing will not work with one of the most popular phones in the country, for me it is useless - beyond useless! 7. After reading the ad and watching the video from the CEO, I am thoroughly upset and cannot wait to send every bit of this garbage back to Amazon and I even bought the $80 package with the extra test strips and lancets! 8. The most disappointing part is the quality! This thing is so easily smeared with fingerprints and just handling it, I thought it had a protective plastic coating on it but it does not! 9. The leather pouch that comes with it holds the Lancet device so hard that when removing it you actually cock it, and therefore are likely to get stuck with it without meaning to. 10. The part in the pouch that holds the device holds it somewhat tight and given this cheap plastic this thing is made out of is only going to scratch it worse over time and make it become unreadable more so than it already is. 11. The third section of the pouch that holds the bottle, or should I say, "supposed to" hold the bottle of test strips - doesn't! And upon turning it over the first time, thank God the bottle was closed because it fell right out of the pouch, which meant if using this device outside of the house or in the car the bottle could easily be lost! To put it in a nutshell, this device is pure misrepresented junk!

Consistently reads a little high
I got this because I liked the chrome color and the carrying case it comes with. I wanted it to put in my school bag as I’m hypoglycemic and often have to check my sugar throughout the day (I’m in classes all day from 1230-430). The first time I used this I thought it read high so I took out my ol reliable glucometer that I keep in my purse and compared the readings a few different times on different days and sure enough it consistently reads 3-5 points high. It’s not too bad but it is something to keep in mind.

Great product, a bit expensive,
Works very well and is easy to use. My only complaint is that the consumables for this product are fairly pricy and you can't seem to make one-time purchases (they want to sell you everything as a subscription, which probably works great for a lot of folks with full-blown needs to regularly take readings). The readings I get seem well-correlated to what I get if I take it to a lab when I get blood-work done and they can tell me the numbers on the spot (which is not common). I bought this mainly because it's the only one Apple seems to promote on their own website, so I took that as a relative "endorsement." It's a bit expensive relative to other products I had found, but I'm happy I bought it and would make the same purchase over again.
