Five stars without a doubt!
Oh my goodness, I am absolutely over the moon with the Rollo Wireless Shipping Label Printer! From the second I unboxed it, I felt like a shipping superhero ready to conquer all packages in my path. Setting it up was ridiculously easy, and connecting it to Wi-Fi felt like wizardry because suddenly I could print labels from anywhere in my house. Every 4x6 label comes out crisp, sharp, and perfect, making my packages look insanely professional, like they belong in a boutique shipping department. The speed is unreal, so I am cranking out orders in record time without a single smudge or jam. I love that it works with pretty much every shipping platform, saving me endless headaches and making me feel totally in control. Itâs compact, sturdy, and just screams efficiency, which makes my desk look clean and organized. Five stars without a doubt... this printer turned a boring shipping chore into a satisfying little party every time I hit print!

I LOVE this label printer, seriously
As a small time seller, I was doing things old school for years - hand writing each label, stating in line at the post office, paying the retail shipping costs. It was fine for what I was doing - just a hobby/etra this and that. Nov. 2022 I thought about if I wanted to up my game a little, venture into a few newer markets, etc. The postal clerks were always saying "hey you know you can save if you do online shipping"... that planted the seed. Most of the printers out there were still doing the paper/ink wastefulness of using a 8x10 sheet of paper for something that only needs to be 6x4 inches - ugh too much waste and hassle isn't there something better? Digging around the web I kept seeing ROLLO pop up here and there. But didn't look seriously until I started digging around on Amazon. Well, after I viewed a few printer, Amazon sent me lots of "hey you checked this out, how about this one?" One had this unit, so I clicked curious to find out more. Well I found out that this one did check off some important features I thought I wanted: -small footprint -does just the label size 6x4 ...or smaller (maybe 2x3 or 4?) haven't tried anything but the 6x4 myself -gosh no INK - sign me up right now!! Then there were those neat features: -WIFI capable - don't know about you, but I LOVE the FREDOM of being cable less. I can be in one room on the other side of the house as the printer, and BING! does it's job... priceless!! As long as I'm in the wifi range I can print from anywhere - computer, cell phone, tablet... oh yeah I've even gone the "I'm too lazy to get out of bed at this moment" however I can do still do a tiny bit of work by clicking print and it's ready to go to the next phase when I get around to it, lol - ah, modern conveniences. -Came with some sample labels so I could start printing right away the moment I opened the box, nice touch thanks! -It's Mac friendly, dons't matter that much these days as it did several years ago - but it's nice to have that support across all the systems - android, windows, Mac, google, etc? I used so many systems they all have they good/bads I tended to stick more to the Mac side since it was more of the music/art stuff I was into when computing than crunching numbers/databases/programming. But I would imagine if it works this well on the Mac I'm sure it's just as nice if not better? in the windows world - not tech guy though and currently don't use much else than my iPhone, MacBook and occasional tablet. The price: - Yes, I do admit this one was a hard one to decide on. In Nov '22 it was more than it is now, maybe because it was newer at that time? That price point wasn't out of reach for me (well the credit limit on my card lol), but I did have to make every penny count for several months as it was not something I can just drop $300 on a moments notice. After I got through the wild holiday season, I knew this one was the absolute right purchase for me. Not only did that $300 come right back in that short sales session/madness (Yes I LOVE me some Christmas, LOL) but I had more than doubled my business, just with the help of this little printer. I got to the point where I found the max amount of items I can personally handle a day realistically, and its actually about 2/3rds MORE sales per day than where I was a year ago before this printer. Worth it? YEP NO QUESTION!!! If you're on the fence, jump off now and go for it. Some ways I kick myself for not doing it earlier, however I think this one came along at just the right time for me and now I know what exactly I want in a label printer. This one checks all the marks and then some. I did learn a ton from doing things the old school way, and for some things that works perfectly. but now I go this. No more lines, cheaper rates than retail out there (just do your homework first before jumping into a "great offer you can't pass up") - even Rollo has their own service via app/web that offers those same great rates plus connects to channels - I however have not used those features yet, not sure if those apply to my specific needs or not. However nice to have them should those needs arise someday. If you're on a tight budget like me, it might hurt at first - I'm okay with eating "top ramen" for a month if needed. If I were in a position to have more than one, you bet I would - but that's only in fantasy land, real world you gotta pay your bills AND eat - one is enough! I will be purchasing Rollo printers, they have proven to be a quality unit. Well worth the investment. It's not cheap, but when you need packages to get there and be consistent, do you really want to cheap out? Not me. The labels I got through amazon "9527 Product" work very well, stick nicely to all box surfaces, and are priced nicely as well. I'll keep going to them for the labels, here on amazon they do have some great deals which can be a nice bonus, but well worth the reg price @ .02/label. Thanks Rollo and Amazon!! Happy customer!! :)

Not only the printer but the program is great!
So far works great! I was having issues with my Nelko printer last minute ordered the Rollo x1040 - I initially planned to continue using stamps.com but I really like the Rollo interface. Works amazing with my shopify account. I had to call in during setup because I overlooked a step and spoke with Gavin - absolutely amazing customer service, so patient and helpful. Very happy I switched to Rollo. Excellent, seriously.

Hope you have better luck than I did
Out of the box, the setup card provided seemed like the perfect solution. It didn't work. This was my first call into customer support, which they do not answer the phone, you have to leave a message and they will get back to you normally within 2 hours, but if the call doesn't go through on your end, then they will log the issue as complete. So be careful of this little gotcha. Turned out to automated setup program wasn't working on my machines (Laptop and Desktop) and the service tech installed the printer manually using the IP address. I didn't realize it at the time but is type of install lead to a situation they never thought of. After being on the call with them for over 2 hours, the printer finally got setup on both my machines, but I missed my window to print shipping labels for that day, so my orders were late. After several days, I had a number of orders that needed to be processed, and when I printed the labels, they didn't look right. Somehow the printer was printing the labels as though they were in 8.5" x 11". When I finally got on the call with them, they tried to tell me that the source files were bad, but since they come directly from the carrier, then everyone around the country would be having the issue, not just me. Turns out when they manually installed the printer a setting was overlooked. Ok, mistakes happen. Next day I go to print some jobs, and the printer shows to be offline. I go to check it and the printer is in "Ready to be Set up" mode. They still do not know how this happened, but we had to go through the entire setup process again. Next day, Printer is offline on the label processing system I use, and in the settings on that system Rollo shows up as a different device. The sevice tech suggests swiching over to the new device name, and boom it works. Why it switched names, they do not know. Over the weekend, I come in to process some special orders, and think, I better check the printer just to make sure, and sure to be damn, it is offline again. Several tech calls and multiple days, I finally tell them what I see is being the problem. I mentioned that the printer was manually setup by Rollo via remote link to both of my systems. Instead of the printer setting itself up as a single network device, it was now flip flopping from the device name each machine I had was called. But it wasn't based on what machine was turned on at the time, the printer just randomly selecting which was online / offline. Which meant that in order to print labels, I would have to go into the settings each and every time I wanted to print labels to ensure that the right printer name was selected to print the jobs. NO THANK YOU. Shipping shouldn't take hours let alone days to get it right. Finally after burning through over 300 labels performing testing, I had, had it and asked for a refund but by this time the return time had expired on Amazon, so they finally agreed to setup a return, but not first trying one last time for me to get it right. I suppose the biggest frustration for me was they never once would admit it was their equipment that could be the problem. It was, did you change any settings, did you do anything on your machine....you should reset your network and see if that helps. SMH. Bottom Line: I really wanted to like this printer with the wireless feature and all, but having to spend hours just to print some labels that shouldn't take more then 10 seconds every time, isn't worth it. My Dymo printer may be slow and have minor issues from time to time, but it works and most of the time I had to use it to print the jobs I needed for that day. I'll be looking at another brand now. But honestly I really wanted this one to work. Overall their tech support people are helpful and if you don't have to do a manual install, then this might be the printer for you. Good Luck

Great Product, Great Customer Service.
Absolutely amazing product. Easy install, Easy setup. We had one issue with our computer and needed a system restore and had to call Rolo to get help. THEY CALLED us back and walked us through fixing it and getting us running again in a FLASH. Francis was the person who helped, and we were up and running in minutes. He was amazing. GIVE HIM A RAISE! LOL! Thank yall. God Bless! đ

A Great WiFi Thermal Printer
I highly recommend this thermal printer. First, a little background. This is the second thermal printer which I have purchased. I had numerous issues with my first thermal printer before it became impossible to get it to print by wifi. My other printer would periodically lose connectivity which would require rebooting the printer and when it rebooted it waisted one or two labels. I probably threw away 500 labels over a couple of years that were waisted by that printer. Before purchasing this Rollo printer, I did some research and the Rollo seemed to be the best at wifi printing. I have been using my Rollo printer daily for six months now. The setup of this printer was very easy. It does use Bluetooth connectivity to setup the printer. But once setup, I have used my Rollo thermal printer exclusively as wifi printer using my computers. I am amazed at the tiny footprint/form factor of this printer. It takes up almost zero space on my desktop. I can say definitively that this Rollo printer does not waste labels like my other printer did. There have been a couple of times when I had to reboot my Rollo printer, but the reboot process does not waste any labels. The printer is very fast, both in responding to a print command and in printing a label. I like that I can setup a 1,000 label fan fold stack of labels and forget about it for some period of time. If you are looking for a thermal label printer that does a great job of printing by wifi I can highly recommend this printer!

This company is doing it, right
I ordered two other thermal printers, a little bit cheaper, by $100. I ended up returning them they said they worked wirelessly with Max, but they were very difficult to set up. Get it to work. And it was hard to talk to somebody at Customer service because theyâre only available when Iâm at work and donât have the machine and the instructions werenât that good so I thought I might as well try something more expensive and ROLLO has not disappointed. I had issues with it connecting to my printer and my phone and I could not get it to print right so I tried the telephone number at like 10 oâclock at night. It said they werenât available. Somebody called me back within 20 minutes. I thought it was a spam call so I didnât answer so I left them an email the next morning on a Saturday before I was even able to see if they were open. Call me back. We figured it out then I get off the phone with them could not get it to print right and she walked me through it again. All I had to do is email them and they call you. I couldnât get my offbrand stickers to print correctly so she said I will send you our brand of stickers free of charge so you can check it out. Make sure it works and if it doesnât call us or email us and we will troubleshoot and make sure it works for you. They just made it so simple and easy for somebody. Thatâs trying to start their own business and work a full-time job on top of it. I was just very impressed. You can tell itâs a good product and it plays well with Mac and the other companies were not easy. I highly recommend spending more money, especially if itâs for your business. It is 1 million times worth it.

Thereâs just ONE thing holding this back from a 5!
Iâm giving it four stars even though itâs excellent..but hereâs why. As someone whoâs printed many thousands of labels on Zebras, Dymos, Generics, and even the wired Rollo..this AIRPRINT capable Rollo takes the cake. In todayâs day and age, 4x6 label printing is easily done from mobile devices without frills. But one thing they donât tell you: Bluetooth still sucks for printing labels. It takes twice or three times as long to print over Bluetooth as opposed to tapping âprintâ once and seeing your âRollo X1040â show as the default AirPrint device. Itâs so hassle-free and convenient Iâll almost look past its ONE flawâŚthe price! There are AirPrint compatible thermal printers that can be had for ~$150. And itâs clear that the name brand effect is the sole reason this thing costs an ungodly $300 after your favorite states sales tax. If the price is no issue, then just order this because the first time you print from your phone, your iPad, and your computer all back to back (why you would do that I donât know) and it just worksâŚchefs kiss.
