Good quality and durable
This is really great and sound is good quality. The most important part is mine is still intact and working after 6 years of using. I bought this in 2020.

Could not stop singing!!!
I have always wanted a karaoke system at home, but don't want those large PA speakers, or bother with complicated set up. I also did not want to spend a great deal of money for it, just something that works with my old Bose 3-2-1 system. This karaoke system kind of fit all my requirements; it's small, easy to set up, and includes everything needed to turn it on and enjoy. I had my high school son set up everything himself, and to my surprise, I did not have to help him one bit, except for getting him batteries for the microphones. After that, me and my kids were spending 3-4 hours singing, and only stopped because of dinner time. The system itself is very compact, and well made. The microphones are of good weight, feel very nice to hold, and give out decent sound quality. My only wish would be to see a bigger range on the sound controls, and maybe a few more built-in sound effects. However, for its price (under $100), it provides just about everything you need to enjoy karaoke at home (or take it along for your vacation), without spending money on any extra parts. All in all, truly happy with the purchase! Definitely recommending it to my friends.

HDMI Use
This little thing is great. I have an older HTPC that I have been using for years, used to use it for a lot of things but now just karaoke. Unfortunately, the power supply died and I don’t want to keep upgrading that for karaoke, so enter this little gadget. I was super excited that it has HDMI in and out making it super easy to connect. I tried to hook it up to my AppleTV box, but it wouldn’t work at all with AppleTV 😔. So, I figured i would try with my XBox instead. Works really well, only the HDMI audio would click out every 20 seconds or so - really annoying. I instead ran the optical cable (included in the box) to my receiver, using HDMI video out + optical audio and and it works great! I did need to buy an HDMI splitter to go with this (splitter, not a switch, as I don’t want to have to push another button every time I use it). You could leave this unit turned on at all times, but I don’t like the bright red power light while using other sources and I don’t believe this unit supports HDR video (not sure about 4K either) so I set it up so this only turns on when I want it for karaoke. Hope this helps people with ideas on how to set this up at your house!

Great for the price, with 1 minor complaint.
Comes with 2 optical audio wires, so truly easy plug and play, from TV to mixer to receiver for karaoke singing. Sounds great, quality feels fine considering it's just over $100. Only complaint: it allows a plug-in third mic, a wired mic, called mic C. But mic C does NOT have its own volume control. instead, it is w/mic A, and w/mic B+C. My old wired mic, now mic C, is weaker than the wireless mic B, and really could use it's own volume control, turned higher. If you have 3 guys singing, this is a problem drawback. Granted, it was shown that way in the product photos, but I failed to notice it. Overall, it's great for the price . . . . . if you have only 2 singers !!

Poor sound quality
Mic sound is faint. Attached one of my older wireless mic and works better than these microphone. Echo and Tone sounds terrible when used.

Easy setup with limited options
Easy to install between your soundbar and TV. I used the optical cables. The only issue I have is the balance between the mic and the sound input could be better as I cant quite get enough mic output no matter how much I try. Theres also some effects which is great but they effect both mics. It would be better if it could be set to each mic as Id prefer the reverb to be on the backup singer microphone only, or the tone adjustment to be different between mics as one mic might be a male and one might be a female. But for the price this is note bad.

Works with Sonos
Works well with my Sonos system using the optical adapter that came with the Arc and my LG C1 tv. I was hesitant before buying because from my google search, people were saying there would be a lag using a Sonos system. For us, we didn’t notice any lag when singing and the sound quality was pretty good. For it to work, here’s how I set it up: I connected an optical cable from the tv optical audio out to the SWM16-MAX optical in. Then from the Sonos Arc using the hdmi to optical audio adapter that came with my arc to the SWM16 optical out. Then, connected the hdmi cable from the SWM16 hd out to the LG hdmi eARC input (port 2). Lastly, I had to tell my tv to use optical audio out in the sound settings. Hope this helps.
