UST See-Me Waterproof LED Light & Strobe

Very small; super lightweight; not super bright, but visible over a great distance on open water; runs for a long time; uses regular AAA batteries, so it's easy to drop in a fresh set once a year; comes with velcro strap and side slots that can be used to strap to a PFD, deck webbing, etc. In short, this is a very good and inexpensive piece of safety equipment to have in the kayak emergency bag in case something bad happens and you're stuck out on the water after dark and need to be located. An essential $10 bit of insurance.

This is a good little light it throws off a Lotta lights, it it’ll be good on batteries also. One thing it’s going to be easier to attach to your backpack and it’ll be easier to find in the dark because it is a red fluorescent red. I think it’s a good value.

I expected more and that's on me. This is a small, marker sized "pen" light that attaches to an individual life jacket. I have not tried it out at night, but estimate that, for the price, it would be of value in an overboard emergency.

I tie this to my backpack every time I go hiking. It's easy to activate, it's bright and is indeed waterproof. I accidentally washed it and it came out of the washing machine still working. I'll buy more of them to give as gifts.

I use this light when I'm fishing off of my kayak at night and can be seen from far away. I also use this light for marking my launch site when I'm either night fishing off of my kayak or night diving from shore!

This item was well made easy to carry. Wish it had a more powerful light. Got it for my daughter and husband who recently moved to Colorado and are planning to do alot of hiking/sking. Living on the east coast and enjoyed boating and always had strobe light to life vest along with hand flares. Floating around in the Chesapeake bay or ocean you are virtually a neddle in hay stack. I made them and emergeny survival kit. Fire starters, Mylar, blankets, poncho, flint/steel/magnesium bar, etc, same as I carried when backpacking in Col. when I was younger. All purchased from Amazon.

I’m not sure how this thing will be spotted even a few hundred yards away, let alone miles away. It is TINY, and it makes a TINY little flash. Overall quality is decent - it’s well constructed and feels solid - but it is seriously SMALL. Look at the pics. It is TINY. I’m keeping it, but now I’m going to have to order some other, larger, brighter strobe to take its place. I guess I can use it as a spare or something, but I’m definitely not thrilled with the small size and tiny flash.

Simple and works, and love the just on or off. Hate those light that you have to scroll thru low, high, flash, etc. Will use this on the water...kayak, boat, windsurfer. Also bought the UST SplashFlash Waterproof LED and BOTH are great little lights. The second comes with 1 battery and doesn't last as long, but is very small and compact.

Me gusta mucho su estructura, diseño y tamaño. Además la luz que proporciona es excelente. A penas lo recibí y ya lo instalé.

Amazingly fast shipping as I got it one day after ordering! Appears to be of good build quality - not cheap-looking, thin plastic or metal components. You have to press down and turn the head to left to open the battery compartment, middle for off and all the way right to turn it on. There are markings on the head to indicate the positions but admittedly they could be highlighted better. The lights flashes quite brightly to me even in the daytime. Will update after I get a chance to field test it. Update - have had 2 of these so far. Both had issues with breakage of the strobe head screw threads or clear dome, probably caused by accidental impact, resulting in water leakage.
