**Q: Do you use the nonstick pan inside the original pan like the silicon inserts or instead it the original pan**
A: Iyes, put the black nonstick pan inside the original pan, thinking this would moderate the bottom heat so that biscuits don't burn on the bottom. This didn't work as well as I thought it would. But the nonstick worked well. Burned bottom biscuits slid right out. I didn't use any spray and the cleanup was a simple wipe.
I bought the grate ( I know, starting to get alot of $$$ in this). It works very well for any doughy items. For loose dough I line the grate on top with non stick alum foil, thick dough I use just the grate. 
I would say the grate and the nonstick pan are equal in usefulness when camping. The grate is good for biscuits and such, the nonstick is very easy cleanup.

**Q: Does it not have a lid? Can you use any other lid?**
A: Hi,

This pan is separate. You use the lid from the original standard pan.

**Q: Can the baking grid be used in the nonstick pan without damaging the ceramic coating?**
A: We recommend to use your standard pan for the rack.

**Q: What is this made of?  Is it aluminum or stainless steel with a non-stick coating?**
A: Coated inside with ceramic, 100% PTFE-free surface that meets LFGB and FDA standards. The Omnia Pan is made of an extra-hard alloy that ensures good adhesion for the coating. NOTE, hand-wash only.
