Love this wetsuit!
First off, the sizing is excellent on this wetsuit. I'm a size 10 (150 lbs, 5'7", triathlon-shape/muscular) if you're going by "true" sizing instead of "ego" sizing, and this wetsuit fits perfectly in a 10. I have muscular arms (I used to row), and the arms on this suit are just right. If you have very slender arms, you might find it a bit too loose. I'd say if you are fit and you know your "true" sizing (grab a sewing pattern), you can go 1-for-1 with the size on this suit.Second, the suit is relatively easy to both get into and out of. At 2mm, it's lightweight and flexible, but it's warm enough that I'm VERY comfy in 60 degree water. My last open water swim was at 70 degrees, and I'll admit to being a bit too warm, so keep that in mind when you're looking at the weight on this. The long, corded zipper means I can actually get out of this suit easily, too. (If you're new to wetsuits and are wondering what to do with that cord, you wrap it around the velcro neck closure flap.) Range of motion in general is really good here (which I'd expect with a shorty), so you won't feel restricted swimming in this suit. Finally, the durability is good. I've been on a number of swims this Spring, and the suit rinses off easily, dries in a matter of hours, and doesn't show any sign of wear yet.

Love it!
All the conflicting reviews on the sizing made it difficult to determine how to order. I went to O'Neill's website to look at their sizing chart, as suggested, and ordered my normal pant size, which was an 8. I am of normal build, 5'5" and weigh 128 lbs, with slightly bigger hips than most. The suit fit in all measured areas (chest, waist and hips), but the sleeves were so narrow and tight that it was uncomfortable under my armpits. I loved the way the suit fit everywhere else and how it looked, so I returned the size 8 and reordered the size 10 to gain some extra room in the arms. It was almost as good a fit everywhere else as the 8 was, but did provide a little extra room under the arms, so I love it. I would suggest ordering one size up if you don't want the suit tight under the arms.

... and I weigh 150lbs-- athletic build-- my shoulders are pretty broad and my arms are a little beefy
I am 5'8" and I weigh 150lbs-- athletic build-- my shoulders are pretty broad and my arms are a little beefy. I was vacillating between the 10 and the 12 because the chart said that I fit in both. I ended up getting the 12 because I was afraid it would be too small based on some other reviews I read online. I just tried it on and the 12 fits perfectly! The arms are a tiny bit tight, but as I said earlier, my arms are a little chubster, so this isn't surprising. It fits snugly, but not uncomfortably so-- this will loosen up a tad when I actually get in the water, so I think it will be perfect. I am happy with the weight-- it felt really soft-- not scratchy or irritating. The neoprene isn't bulky or thick, but rather a perfect weight for a spring suit. I planning on using it for wake surfing and paddle boarding in a Colorado reservoir, and my full wet suit is just too warm for the latter half of the spring and early fall.

Great suit: sized tight!
Careful with sizing! A wetsuit by nature should fit snugly and this one does.................I wear a size 6 PANTS, DRESSES AND TOPS........ I generally need a size 10 in a bathing suit as I am long wasted. I purchased the size 8 in this due to customer comments and it was very snug and didn't give me enough room to stretch. I could have kept it, but decided to order it in a 10 and returned teh 8. My suggestion is go by your bathing suit size! Otherwise, it is so perfect. Very well made, easy to put on due to the very reachable zipper so can put it on when alone. It is generous in the thighs. I know you will be happy with the quality and the price compared to buying in a sports/surf shop...great prices. I am waiting for my new on in hot pick and size 10.

Keeping me warm. Warmer than the other guys im surfing with. I think this 3/2 Heat model lives up to the name. Some of the guys wearing 3/2 from other brands or a year or two older complain they're cold some mornings. All the while im thinking im not cold st all. Then i do a duck dive and i feel the water is cold. I will give up that cold rush every now and then vs getting out of a chest zip or front enry suit.. Only issue i have is that the velcro closure system keeps thst rough velcro stuff on a smooth material wetsuit that is always sticking to some part of the suit. The area around the neck is visibly talking a beating

Sizing Guide spot on - watch the arms though
Size 4 = Perfect fit for daughter that is 5' 2" and 105 lbs. Only challenge is that the arms seem tight for her - she plays lacrosse and has biceps that boys her age would kill for. Not sure the options when you have larger than 'standard' arms and a neoprene suit. She will be wearing it surfing this week in the Atlantic so will advise any additional info (good or bad) thereafter.Sizing charts are spot on and she really liked the color scheme and the 'womens' cut as she tried on her brothers suit and it definitely did not fit her hips / waist properly. Stitching and quality solid. YKK zippers are outstanding.

Sizes so confusing
I don't usually write reviews but thought I would try and spare someone else the confusion I went through in buying this product. Some reviews say the size that fit them is their "regular" size in clothes, however since I am usually a size 2-4 in regular clothes, and the smallest size available on amazon is a size 6, that was not the case for me. I ordered both the size 6 and 8, and the 8 ended up working for me. The 6 was just too small/tight. The 8 was just right. I am 105 lbs and 5'2". I would say the size 6 translates to a size 0. I wish the seller would post the correct size chart instead of everyone having to guess! But I give this 5 stars anyway, because once I did get the right fit, it was perfect and the suit seems to be high quality.

Nice quality but these fit awfully small
Nice quality but these fit awfully small. Had to order largest size and it's still on the small side.I'm a 14 and had to re-order and get a 16. Surely there are bigger women than me that want to wear these?!

Good wetsuit, easy to do up
Good wetsuit, easy to do up. I use it for swimming instruction in a pool and this is my second time ordering the O'Neill. It holds up better in the chlorine than the MEC version did. I wish we could get all the colour options here in Canada instead of just pink or blue.

Great fit other than the neck, can fix it.
Great looking suit, nice colour combination. Good quality especially for the price. Fit was perfect but the neck hole is tight. I will try to cut a small V notch front center of the neck to adjust the pressure
