I'm 5' 8" 182 lbs with average size calves and the s/m fit very good. They felt secure but not too tight. Did some round house kicks on the heavy bag and could feel through the pads a bit. There are other pads out there that give better protection but these are decent for their weight. I wish the padding extended another inch to cover all the way to the toes since you can sometimes feel it more on the exposed part. These fit under my Macho karate foot pads so when I want to kick extra hard I just double up and that offers enough protection. These are fairly easy to get on and off. I can see these could be used in grappling too without interfering since they fit close to the body and not bulky. Update: Been using for a couple of months at my MMA gym and they are decent for hitting pads and light sparring but I just got new Hayabusa Kanpeki grappling shins and the Hayabusa are far better. The Haybusa take a bit more time to get on and off but worth it. They have much better padding and fit even more securely. The Elite Sports are decent though for the price and something to get you buy until you can invest in better shin Guards. Update: after a while they seemed to get a little looser because I notice then shift a lot more to the side of my shin when kicking the banana bag. My shins have toughened up enough now that I don't use them on the bag anymore. Even my good Hayabusa shin guards will shift a little when kicking the bag hard. For sparring they work fine though.

The shin pads are super comfortable, they feel light and breathable and they even fit nicely inside my TKD pants. Overall a nice product and I'll be sparring with them a lot. I only wish the instep part was a little longer so they would cover my toes

Pads fit great. My son can easily put on and take off himself, age 11. Thick material, good quality product!

I only wore these twice to my Muay Thai class. The first class, I wasn’t using force with my kicks yet, so they held up fine. The second class, I was using force with my kicks during sparring, and my coach said they didn’t protect me or my partners from much, if anything, and me and my sparring would get hurt. (He was correct, I bruised all over my foot and shin). They also twisted around my shins after the impacts of kicking. Overall, the quality of these isn’t poor, but if you are trying to buy shin guards for heavy sparring/training, I would strongly suggest a different brand or design.

These shin pads fit perfectly, great protection and easily adjustable and removable. Very durable and super great pricing. They’re actually comfortable and functional I love the design and the fit. Super light weight & strong hold. They are super easy to remove even when wet and sweaty. Im obsessed with this stores products everything I’ve purchased has been better than expected. I highly recommend
