They make beautiful scalloped edges.

They are big and beefy. They feel very robust and they cut so smoothly I want to freak out. The shape of the cut isn’t the classic zig-zag, but they perform the same function as conventional pinking shears with the added bonus of smoother edges/corners which could be used for decorative purposes on their own. Very nice.
