I do not understand some of the reviews where people say the battery does not last long. I have not experienced that issue. I have turned mine on at dusk around 5:30 p.m. and have turned them off when I go to bed around 12:30 and they have lasted 5 days before I had to change out the batteries so that's 35 hours worth of run time. I am using the Bonai rechargeable batteries along with the Bonai charger which I have also bought on Amazon. If you are going to use lights that are battery operated, no matter what brand they are I highly recommend using rechargeable batteries. The Bonai have been a lifesaver and a big money saver! Getting back to this product, I create a lot of my own artwork using both acrylics and oils. The light temperature on these spots represent my colors in my paintings very accurately. The spotlighting is pretty Direct even at a distance and has a variable bright and dim range with the remote. They are very easy to install and are aesthetically pleasing. I have attached pictures of some of my artwork lit up with this light set in a room that is 80 to 85% dark. I have also attached a picture of the Bonai charger and batteries for reference.

Please read this: the battery compartment is a mess to open. To open it press down on the bottom of the lights (the base of the device) and it will slide open. Try both ways. Also, a brief shot of how to do this is on a you tube video, under the name of the company. The lights are not particularly bright but adequate if you are directing them to an object close by. It's a quality product.

These lights are pretty mediocre. The remote controls don’t work consistently, the lights are so dim and difficult to adjust due to the inconsistent operation of the remote controls. They feel like a toy version of a real light.

I got these cute little lights today. I unboxed them put in three (3) AA batteries which are not included. The remote control (which was my main reason for purchasing this unit) did come with a 2022 cell battery. I fired it up played with the remote control buttons as well as the one (1) power push button on the actual light housing. It only turns it off & on. I placed it in the spot where I originally purchased it for uplighting and loved the visual. Then I decided I could use no I NEEDED (LoL) uplighting in a few other spots & immediately ordered two (2) more sets to give off the soft lighting look seen on home decorating shows & staged homes for sale. My walls are painted a dark grey (actually the grey that’s on the remotes for these lights) & my trim is white. So either light setting is perfect, just depends on my mood. The timer is awesome. Now I must add the fact that you can either screw these into or use the double-sided tape to secure them in place or you can just sit them where you want them is a great asset. I’m pretty sure that after I finish this room, I’ll be ordering a few more to highlight my new home office. I love that they are remote controlled. But make sure that when you place them, the red sensor/push button are facing you for optimal use unless you have them placed in front of a mirror which in that case the signal can bounce off the mirror. In closing, I really like theses little lights. If you are looking for lighting to read by, these are not the lights unless you are going to put them fairly close to you. Sorry I don’t have photos to show right now, but hopefully when I’m done with the decorating, I can come back for an update post with pictures. Buy the lights!!!
