Bonnie Plants Red Ghost Pepper 19.3 oz. 4-Pack

They arrived in great condition. I planted all four in different locations to ensure I would end up with at least two good ones, however all four are thriving and producing fruit.

I ordered from Burpee and another seller I compare how the plants arrived. Three small plants arrived broken stems and leaves, Currently they are in the green house in ICU. One plant is broken at the main stem I have added a splint and tape to keep it alive, The box they arrived in didn't have any fragile plants warnings it said "sweet onions from Del Monte". Really!! sure had me guessing my wife said did you buy more junk from Amazon? I was mystified until I open the box and saw three smashed plants with three to four leaves. In the week before I tried to cancel my order because they put off my order for a month and that was unacceptable, so they changed the delivery date and rushed me the forty dollar small and damaged plants. In comparison I ordered "Burpee Jalapeno four plants" and wow they were protected in special plastic containers and arrived perfect condition. Again not placed in a baggy, rolled in newspaper and stuffed in a unmarked box slip shot, dubious to say the least. This is not over! The competition plants are in ICU currently we will see if the battered and beaten plants recover from bad packaging damage. Thank you Burpee! you care about the plant the way I would care for it, and the Jalapeno pepper plants are growing happily in my green house. Everyone please avoid the competition just purchase Burpee products why because the packaging is going to give you a perfect plant every time. Tomatoes arrived perfect, Jalapeno peppers arrived perfect.

Very, very healthy plants when they arrived, and came extremely well packaged. Box was rigid, with separators for each of the 4 included plants, and each of the plants was in a decently sized plastic pot. I've purchased several plants from different vendors the past few years, and these folks have provided the best packaging by far, as well as provided the healthiest and truest to size plants so far. I will only buy from them going forward if they have the particular plants I'm looking for. Thank goodness for a great plant vendor here on Amazon.

Plants were packaged carefully and looked strong and vibrant when I took them out. The soil was moist and the plants had good roots but were not bound up. They had overgrown their containers and were a little bit bent, but straightened out once they were removed, and there was no damage to the stems. The shipment must to have been kept right-side-up the entire journey since there wasn't any loose dirt scattered anywhere in the box. It seems like there is quite a lot of variation among the quality of the packaging and delivery with these orders, but mine couldn't have arrived in better condition.

I’m giving this three stars because only two of the four plants are still thriving in my garden and have started producing peppers. Two wilted the second day and later died. Bonnie plants are among the best so I’m not sure why those two, but all my other vegetables are great. I love hot banana peppers and treasure them. I always buy them at Lowe’s but couldn’t wait. I’m sure they will produce great peppers though.

I was absolutely impressed to receive my shishito peppers in great protective packaging. They arrived looking absolutely healthy, no water stress, and good root system. It's difficult to impossible to find this pepper variety in my area and I was so happy to find them here. I have bought Bonnie plants at my local big box stores, but they have always been picked over, mishandled, and underwatered by the time I see them. This is definitely the way to go. I let them put on a week of extra growth in their nursery pots before potting them up in garden buckets. They look like they are ready to take over the universe. I am happy. This is definitely the way to go from now on!

All the plants were healthy and are growing beautifully! 😁 Great value for the money. They also sent a bunch of strawberry plants for free! Awesome! 👍
