Works great! Easy install in my van
Easy install - took one of these outlets and installed it in the dash of my Chevy van. This allowed me to hide my GMRS radio out of sight and plug my microphone into this outlet when needed!

Perfect for my Midland radio + dashboard.
Great solid connector. I use it for my Midland MXT575 GMRS radio, to connect the hand piece through the dash board. Nice to have it a quick disconnect.

Add Ethernet RJ-45 jack where you need it.
Great way to put Ethernet into a solid case/wall/tray. I used it to add an RJ-45 jack to a Lazy-Boy recliner divider/drawer unit. These need a 1" hole in the "hidden" tray. I took the drawer out to get up into the mounting. Added a pre-made cable between the Ethernet wall jack and this feed thru. Works great and adds wired network to my recliner.

Good quality, but diameter slightly larger than standard j-box 3/4" punch-out
I like the solid aluminum construction, but I didn't like that I had to enlarge the 3/4" punch-out hole on the steel box where I installed one of these. It ended up being far more work than I expected, but it worked out well in the end.
