UPDATE 2 Finally got the Red Control Vinyl but they're Warped. Quality Electronics never responded to make this right. After paying more for the Vinyl than other places because they said they had Red & paying extra for shipping only to get a Warped set. All they had to do was send a functional Pair but they choose not to. In fairness i could have went somewhere local after the 3rd time i received the wrong ones but I'm stubborn & wanted to see if it was even possible. I've been Djing for 20 years i know when Vinyl is Warped. My Technics are calibrated like a swiss time piece. But the Clear Control Vinyl have been good so far. I have the original butter rugs & the Serato slipmats both work well & feel about the same. I also have the Dr. Suzuki slipmats with the Slip Sheets like we used to make back in the day. I got great service from Amazon. The people in Customer service made things right every time i got the wrong set. It's not their fault but they did everything possible to make it right. Quality Electronics the DJ Shop who sent me the overpriced Warped Red Control Vinyl not even close, then acted like i don't know what Warped vinyl is when I've been diggin in the crates since i was 16 & still living in the projects. I've dug for records in every country I've ever visited while on tour & every city with a Record store. Worse still i could have up'd a whole pool of DJs & Producers looking for a place to buy equipment but nope. So i just got these Custom White/Blood splatter designed Control Vinyl i may have never found had Quality Electronics DJ Shop actually done the right thing, so in a way it worked out for the best. Moving on i just have to say 5/5 for the Amazon customer service people for real. UPDATE: I ordered Red Control Vinyls 3 times & got clear I even asked someone else to order me a pair of Red Control Vinyls & they sent Clear that time too. This last time i ordered a pair of like new figuring they must have verified that they were Red & unbelievably they were Clear. It says on the box they come in what the color is. Basically they said i should buy from somewhere else. One vender has Red but those are $40 with shipping. Nobody from Amazon will contact me about the issue. So i literally can't get Red Control Vinyl from Amazon right now. Other then that the Control Vinyl itself is great. Original Serato Control Vinyl Not as slippery as a battle record or Color/Clear Control Vinyls which provide less friction with a decent slipmat. That said they're good Basic Serato Control Vinyls, threy will get the job done & if you're just using them mainly to mix they're probably better for that situation. If you're a Scratch DJ or turntablist get the clear/color ones with a good slipmat & slip sheets.

I feel like these new performance series vinyl just changed everything about serato. In bass heavy venues I've previously had a problem getting the control vinyl to track but not with these bad boys. NO TRACKING ISSUES SO FAR! In addition to that those of you that scratch/cut will appreciate these new vinyl. Although they seem to be thicker, it's worth the trade-off in regard to sound quality. In previous generations of control vinyl there's been a SLIGHT lag as well as a digital sound when pulling the vinyl back slowly. NO MORE! The sound quality for scratching is incredible in comparison to before. Everything just sounds cleaner! And that goes for the overall sound quality of these control vinyl as well. The quality is amazing. I'm about to order another set!

Good quality and not wrapped considering the shipping to my location. BUT, I clearly ordered Red and they sent me Clear(white) vinyl, not something to get too worked up about but the Red would have matched my DJM S5 so much better than Clear white. Since I'm overseas no point waiting 6+ weeks returning the items to maybe getting the original Red color I ordered. Aside from that tone works perfectly, Serato reads it great no functionality issues.

I got the clear control vinyl. It does what it's supposed to do in Serato. I used it with my Gemini PT2000 mk2 turntables with Numark CC1 cart/stylus. Works great. I love that its clear because you can see my Serato branded "butter rug" slip mats underneath it. If I ever decided to get another cool slipmat, it's nice to know people will be able to see it through the clear vinyl. I use a DDJ-SX2 with DVS through Serato. 5 stars all around!!
