I have recently moved from reusable plastic water bottles over to using just glass ones and I'm glad that I did. Plastic bottles overtime would get cloudy, have a smell, and even start molding. I would spend a lot of money on a high brand plastic bottle only to replace it 6 months later because I couldn't thoroughly clean it. Didn't matter if I would spend a lot of money on a bottle or very little, I'd still have to replace it. I have been using glass bottles for quite awhile now and I have been loving it! I have one for the house and one for travel and this is the one I use for around the house. I do really love this bottle but I have a few things that bother me about this product. One is the color; the picture shows a nice bright teal color but the true color of this bottle is more of a mid-green color. Second is that its not a screw on lid, but instead it just has a rubber seal/stopper. So if it gets knocked over hard enough it has a chance for the top to just pop off but I haven't had a huge problem with spills (thankfully). But this does prevent me from using this bottle for travel which is why I have two separate ones. Lastly, and this issue really bothered me with the bottle. When I first got it, the rubber seal that I just mentioned that stops water from spilling out from the bottle, had a horrible plastic smell. I thought, "well I'll just leave it to air out for awhile and it'll be fine"....nope. I even tried to ignore it and filled it with water and started to use it and that smell started to flavor the water, which was disgusting and I had to stop using it (plus I don't know how safe that was). What I found the best to get rid of the smell was to fill up the bottle with soapy water but made sure that it was filled high enough to hit the rubber seal and I left it for a day or two. I even replaced the water and did it again for another couple of days so it almost took a week to get rid of the smell. I was very disappointed. I was able to get rid of the smell but I'll be honest even now (I've had this bottle for over 2 months) I occasionally can still get a small whiff of that bad plastic smell. Overall, after getting rid of that horrible smell, the bottle functions well and I love using a glass bottle instead of plastic ones by far. The glass is made well, the protective sleeve on the bottle gives it a grip and keeps it safe, and the wood looking cap gives it a sleek design.

I have been looking for a glass water bottle because I wanted to change from plastic. I really loved the design and size of this water bottle and that it has a rubber sleeve so you don't need a coaster when you put it on a table. It comes in several colors to choose from and it is very easy to clean. I also was very impressed with the price because it looks like it would be very expensive from the way it is constructed. I would definetly recommend this product to anyone looking to change from plastic to glass and have a quality water bottle.

My favorite protein shake at home is the Core vanilla protien (it tastes like melted vanilla ice cream with no grittiness) mixed with Javvy’s coffee concentrate (I have tried multiple flavors and have loved all of them!) and I add in the 2 scoops of Vital Protien’s collagen peptides. Using the Zulay’s hand frother (I’ve had this for 2 years, it’s still going strong, and love that it comes with a stand!) it mixes in beautifully. I just had to show it all off in my beautiful Ello cup that my kids got me for Christmas! I have both this color and a lovely purple one. My shake fits with room to spare to add ice when I want to, it doesn’t freeze my hands in this and with a rambunctious 4 year old having knocked it over a time or two, it doesn’t go sloshing everywhere. That’s a win in my book! No, none of this is paid thing to try any of these, this is just how I like to make a protein and collagen drink starting my weight loss journey and I wanted to shout out the brands. Thank you!

This tumbler is a great mix between a water bottle and a glass of water at home. Love that it is glass, easy to clean and has a protective sleeve around the bottom. Will be buying another one. Washes up nicely .

Lid started to peel off the bamboo coat protection. I only hand washed it. I have been using it for two months now. I’m afraid the lid will get mold without the coat protection. It is a beautiful cup, the glass is very thick and the silicone sleeve is anti slip.

I’ve been looking for a nicely designed and sturdy reusable cup for getting larger drinks (particularly Venti size in Starbucks) in coffee shops so I didn’t have to waste the plastic cups/straws that the drinks usually come in. I couldn’t find an appropriate cup anywhere that was nicely designed, a reasonable price and that fit in my cars cup holder. The closest thing I came across was metal thermos cups, but the majority of them were too wide, so didn’t fit in the cup holder, or the ones that did fit in a cup holder were just WAY too tall and narrow and then there was plastic tumblers that were just cheap plastic and not sturdy at all. I came on the internet to see if I could find a glass tumbler and found this and it’s perfect. It’s a nice thick glass with silicone that has great grip. The straw is a hard plastic straw which just pushes through but has a run at the bottom to stop it from being pulled out. The lid is easy to lift off and all is easy to wash. It says it is dishwasher safe but I don’t have a dishwasher so don’t know lol but I imagine it’s fine. I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a reasonably priced and sturdy tumbler.
