Sonic Boom - Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker with Phone Charger, IP67 Outdoor Speaker, 3 USB Charging Ports, 50 Foot Range & 20 Hours Battery Life

Over the last year, I've purchased 6 or 7 portable speakers from Altec Lansing, for myself and as presents. They've all performed wonderfully and I haven't encountered any issues. I've gotten them in the full range of sizes from the small hand held speakers to this larger sized one. They're well designed and manufactured with quality in mind. This speaker is made with the same high quality. The functionality is what makes it totally worth $130. It easily pairs to my phone and I love that I don't have to be right on top of it for it to change songs or volume. It's got 3 USB ports and 1 aux port that are covered by a waterproof lid, as well as a handy waterproof compartment on the back to protect your phone. The sound is clear with nice bass. It's loud enough that I can use it in my backyard while gardening and still be able to hear it, even when I go around the side of the house. One of the best features this speaker has is that you can use it as a charging station. The ability to do that is huge since playing music on my phone seems to suck the battery quickly. The speaker has really good battery life, but you only get 20 hours out of it, if you're running it at 50% volume and no one is using it as a charging station. If I'm running it at full volume and have 1 phone charging it'll last 10-12 hours, which is still great. It's a very lightweight unit that you can take everywhere and the construction is solid. I'm extremely happy with the performance and I'd definitely purchase this again.

I have a small speaker from them & it works awesome. I ordered the Sonic Boom speaker & it was garbage. I plugged it in to charge it up & it never charged. It only turned on when the power cord was plugged in. Then when it did turn on. When it said Welcome To Alec Lansing is wasn't clear. It was static. Then I heard a horrible buzzing sound coming from the speaker when I tried to play music through it. So I asked for a replacement. They sent the replacement & it was like they took the same speaker that I just sent back and put it in a beat up box & shipped it right back to me. Because it did the same thing. Wouldn't charge, wouldn't work without the power cord. Horrible buzzing sound when I tried to play music from it. When it said Welcome To Altec Lansing. It wasn't clear, it was muffled and static. I'm very disappointed. The instructions said 2 to 3 hours and it would be fully charged. I left it plugged in overnight and it never charged. Both of them just flashed a dim red light every few seconds. That light is supposed to be a bright solid red until fully charged. Then the light is supposed to go out. I'm absolutely disgusted. Don't waste your time and money on this. Find an alternative.

This is a fantastic speaker. It put out a lot of bass in the music. I had it set up on a table, and it was literally booming and rattling the table. And that wasn't even at full power. This offers excellent sound quality and loudness. This speaker is of the same high quality as the others. The utility is what makes it well worth the $130 price tag. It effortlessly connects to my phone, and I appreciate that I don't have to be right on top of it to adjust tunes or level. It has three USB connections and one aux connector protected by a waterproof top, as well as a convenient waterproof pocket on the rear to keep your phone safe. The Altec Lansing Sonic Boom is weatherproof, lightweight, and portable, allowing you to listen to the music that defines your life wherever you go. The Sonic boom actually starts the celebration. True wireless pairing requires the connecting of up to two speakers. It have a wireless range of 50 ft.

Does not hold a charge for very long, and does not get much louder than a medium sized speaker.

I'd honestly never really was aware of the brand Alltec before a few months ago but I've been more and more impressed with their products the more I give them a chance. I didn't even realize that an older surround sound system in my house, maybe decades old, is an Alltec, too, and is still holding up pretty well for its age. These newer models still hold the same competency but are definitely upgraded in all the right ways. This model is less flashy than other Bluetooth speakers as it is made for more outdoor use, like barbecuing and working on your yard, and travel, like road trips and camping. It's built rock solid, no fear of this falling apart or getting damaged from occasional bumps and drops. The battery life is very impressive and allows for us to play music for hours and hours on end while working inside or outside. The waterproof function lets us feel a lot safer keeping this nearby when working with hoses or by a pool, though you don't want to pour water or any sort of liquids directly on it. Loud speaker, charging ports, clear sound and built to last. Can't get much better than that and I would expect no less from Altec.

Es una buena bocina para la playa ya que resiste la arena y agua pero no es muy funcional.

hasta ahorita la calidad del producto, lo esta utilizando mi esposa, yo he utilizado la marca shure desde siempre y por eso he mantenido esa fidelidad, de acuerdo a mis necesidades

Caja con potencial pero muy bajo volumen

La verdas no fue lo que eaperaba para el precio no me gusto, en lugares abiertos no se escucha el volumen es muy bajo!!
