I have several cans of 134 and several cans of 1234. Unfortunately this adapter does not adapt to any of them. I went and got my neighbor’s adapter. It fits both 1234 and 134. What gives I’m returning it

This item works as you would think. However, I don't own an R1234yf manifold gauge. I have the standard manifold gauge that I use for R134a. I also have adapters for the low and high ports for R1234yf. So for the very rare instance I need to service a R1234yf system, I swap out the port fittings. The adapter supplied with can tap is LH thread. I believe this is for R1234yf manifold gauges. They should've included a RH thread adapter as well to fit the manifold gauges a majority already own. Luckily, I have one already.

Good overall product finish, the tool looks great, functions as it should. just remember R1234YF cans are left-hand thread.

This is a handy little product. Here's why; last summer my wife's car AC stopped working. It needed refrigerant so I bought a couple of cans. Well it needs still more refrigerant to work with the best efficiency, but not a whole can. Unfortunately once you open a can of refrigerant, if you don't use it all, the rest usually goes to waste. That's where this product comes in. You use it to pierce and open the can but if you don't use all of it you simply close the valve on this can seal, and voila, the rest is saved until next time. Refrigerant is like pretty much everything else now days; very expensive so it can save a lot of money over time. I'm glad to have this self sealing can tap. The price of it is less than one can of refrigerant at the time of this writing.

tap valve will not screw on to can so useless but do not have packing it come in so cannot return it glad its only 12 dollars or so its useless
