Wreck This Journal: Now in Color

Love this as a gift or for yourself as a guided journal. I’ve bought three of these previously for all of my older nieces around the 12-14 year range. Easy jumping off point to start journaling without over complicating anything. It makes it fun and whimsical.

I gave it as a birthday gift to a 9yo family friend. She loved it! A few of the pages have questionable directions (take this whole book into the shower), but overall seems like a fun way to get out some creativity and a pinch of destruction. It was definitely a win!

My children have loved this journal when they have received it as a gift. I have bought this item multiple times and recommend it to others. It’s a fun, creative outlet for journaling for young teens!

My bonus daughter has been going through a bit of a rough patch lately. She loves to draw/sketch, colors, create, and be creative. She doesn’t follow the crowd, she paves her own way. Being only 10 I feel like she is very self aware that she is different than most other kids. Which I think is amazing and a great thing! She was born to stand out rather than be a carbon copy cookie cutter version of someone else. When I came across this journal I was actually looking for something for my son. I thought he would find this interesting however he’s not very hands on and will actually sit still and do this. He would rather create a new type of aircraft and test it at the speed of sound to make changes as far as durability than be creative in THIS way. Bonus daughter’s face lit up when she saw this book. I asked her if she would like to try it and she said “yes”! She was excited and I was excited to see her excited to try something new after the week she had. I can admit it was challenging for me to let go of “control” when she asked for paint to dip her hands on the make handprints on a specific page. However I remembered why I got it for her in the first place, dug out the acrylic paint, she picked yellow, and on top of brown craft paper at her fathers work desk she put her yellow hand prints all over the pages that asked for this. I would recommend this book to anyone. Adult or child. I feel like if you know someone well enough you will know if they will be engaged by this book or not. At first I thought my son and purchased it. I’m glad though that I have it to my bonus daughter because she’s enjoying it so much, and in such a time of need. She’s able to express herself in ways and be challenged on her self expression. This was easily worth the money and the smile on a child’s face. Buy this book. If it’s not for you: I can guarantee you will fine someone to give it to quickly. 10/10 recommended.

Perfect for my 9yo, very engaging and unexpected.

Have to my 12 year old as a gift and she says it has been her favorite gift. She has taken it everywhere and shown everyone and absolutely loves it! She wants other ones like it for next gift. It is fun and definitely not boring.

I ordered the "Wreck This Journal: Now In Colour Edition" in order to be able to give me a creative outlet as I love to draw and create. Firstly, I find this product to be excellent value for money; at £14.42 it's excellent value for money especially with how many prompts there are throughout the book. Secondly, I find it suitable for both children and adults alike. And what's better is you can do whatever you like with it and the prompts are there to give you an idea of what you can do. It really gives you full control of how you want to express your creativity whilst giving you a prompt to give you an idea of what to do. This is perfect for when you want to be creative but don't know where to start. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this book!

Book content is excellent. It’s a fantastic idea and unusual. However, I bought it as a gift and it arrived with a partially torn sticker on the front cover. One of those type that peel off in tiny little ripped pieces that leave a sticky residue. It’s no good to me for a gift, now I’ll need to go to a shop and try to buy a copy there. I know this book is designed to be wrecked by the owner but I’d like to give it to the recipient in pristine condition.

I loved this journal when I was a teenager, so I bought it as a gift for my 10-year-old stepdaughter—she absolutely loved it! She spent the whole first day filling it out and having fun with the activities. Such a great, creative gift for all ages.
