Case Logic JDS-6 USB Drive Shuttle 6-Capacity (Black/Blue)

Perfect USB Storage!Adding to the well-deserved positive reviews:I now have two of the six-USB ones pictured here (and also have owned several of the two-USB ones, also from Case Logic, for many years now -- more on that, down below).This second six pack, in blue, I just bought is just as great as the first one, from years ago Dimensions are as listed (about five inches tall by three inches wide, and about an inch deep) and it can really hold more than just six, although, as it shows, it has only six "pockets" to actually hold a USB drive firmly in place.For me, I've found that it can hold six, using the pockets, and then several more, loosely, if you are needing more storage and if you're okay with opening the case carefully so your loose ones don't fall out. I generally just slot a few loose ones in between the pocket areas, since there is plenty of room. I use it for USB drives for my car stereo, so it's great in the glove box to hold up to eight drives or even ten drives easily, since, as others have pointed out, most drives today are much smaller than the ones pictured.It zips all the way around, so even a loose drive doesn't fall out. It offers convenience of storage, and a degree of protection from dirt or dust. A great buy!A side note, on the two-USB case -- it's a fold-over design, as advertised -- I have no idea why people complain that it is poorly built, or that the plastic pocket is at risk to rip or tear. I have been using several of these, with daily use, for years, and I have yet to have ANY issues with the build quality.It easily holds two USB drives, and, unless a person is using some crazy novelty USB drive of massive size, I don't know why anyone would say these are only for something the size of an SD card. Makes no sense. They are more than large enough to hold two standard size thumb drives (like the SanDisk Cruzer Glide, for example) and still fold over and stay closed with the Velcro closure. Yes, the case is best used for drives on the order of 1/4 inch thick, but, as I say, that is pretty standard size for drives these days, so it's a mystery why folks are complaining of a lack of space.Don't let bad reviews hold you off of the two-drive model -- it works great! Plus it has the handy clip, which has also stood the test of time, in my experience.So, both are great products, and, of the ones I've had for many years, both the six and two USB designs, I've had no issues at all, and they are as solid today as the day I bought them.Highly recommend!

I now have more than one of these sturdy and good-looking Case Logic media cases. I got this one because I liked how the blue color in the photo would nicely distinguish from another black one I have of exactly the same size and style. Unfortunately, the blue color shown (close to SteelBlue) isn't what was delivered; the case I received is more of a gray-blue, somewhere between SlateGray and LightSteelBlue. Still, it's a nice color and I can tell it apart from my black one. As I can't offer 4.5 stars, I would ding this review by a half-star for mild color misrepresentation, but otherwise the case is a versatile and well-constructed media storage/transport, so I'll give it the benefit of 5/5.The inside has six elastic pouches, three on each side. Something I haven't seen mentioned is that each pouch is perfectly sized to hold the plastic cases that SD/microSD cards and their adapters come in. You can stack two of these on top of each other in each pouch if they are the thin style. I also have an SD card reader (USB 3, Lightning, Android/microUSB) in one of the pouches, and keeping my USB thumb drives on the other side allows the full complement of all of my portable media. The elastic is snappy, effectively holding a couple/few of the tinier USB drives ("low profile" or "Ultra Fit") without them falling out of their pouch.Padding/shock protection is modest but not insignificant. This handy media case fits in a shirt pocket, if a little bulkily, it is nice-sized.Get one, get two! These are pretty close to perfect for what they are designed to do.The potential for the thickness of the case accommodating larger items is somewhat impressive: if you have one and wanted to, you could also store an iPod touch in one of these (perfect size for it), even along with your USBs/SDs/reader. A portable hard drive might fit, but only if it is a 2.5" drive and its enclosure is slim. Maximum inside dimensions for that sort of storage might be about 12x10x1 cm, but then you reduce the number of USB sticks, SD card cases or card readers you can also store, unless they are small, thin and few.

I bought one of these years ago and have been using it ever since. The one I just got is perfectly acceptable, but it is different.The older one did not have neoprene on the outside, as this one does. The older version was fabric only. This is only a cosmetic change.The older case was a bit more substantial. This one is still very acceptable, but it is slightly less rigid. I would prefer to have one that is as protective as my old one.This case is the same size and functions just as well as my old one, which is still like new. I bought it because I now have a teenager at home and I wanted him to have my old one. I took the new one. I don't expect to have any trouble with it. Admittedly, though, my case is used to hold my flash drives at home. It is for storage only, and I have no need of any real degree of protection. The older case would have protected the drives better. Even so, I don't see any reason not to buy this case. It organizes flash drives beautifully and makes them easy to find and transport. Unless you are planning to step on or otherwise smash your case with the drives in it, you shouldn't have any problems with it. An excellent and practical item. I don't lose my flash drives, and this was my goal.

I got this to keep my collection of USB thumb drives and memory card readers organized in my backpack while on the go.This case works perfectly and is very high quality, better than I expected for the price.it has 6 elastic mesh "slots" to hold your USB sticks, but you can actually fit 9 USB sticks in it because you can put two USB sticks in the 3 slots on one side of the case. You can't put two USB sticks in all 6 slots or else the case will not close.This case has two zippers and they seem to be good quality, with nice sturdy nylon "handles" or "pull cords" on them.The case is flexible and not rigid like some other similar cases. This may be a pro or a con depending on your needs. It's a pro for me because it makes the case fit anywhere, and I have no doubt it will protect the contents just fine.I can't speak for the durability of the case yet, but it feels like it will hold up well over time.

Very nice case. You can see each drive and yet they do not touch one another nor do they move around. Nice quality. I have 3 and am thinking about buying one more. Much better then putting them in plastic bags. Also keeps you from losing them. Anyone with more than 4 or 5 jump drives should probably get one or two of these. I have no idea why some have written negative reviews. There is not much to say that is bad. Nice job with design and construction for the price. I keep mine at home. I suppose if you are mobile and want to save on bulk you might not need one but for home use their fantastic. the drives are held in place with an elastic mesh that you can see through. It works well.Its padded but of course if you stomp on one you might break the drives inside. But then you would need a case made out of strong heavy metal or plastic that would be much larger and more expensive. It all depends on what you are looking for. I don't think its bullet resistant either but I'm sure their is someone out there who makes that if you want one: )

Since I have a number of spare USB drives and was storing them in a plastic bag when I spotted this item, I decided to get and see how well in would work. This item has six areas to put your USB drives in, three on the top and three on the bottom of the case. It opens with a standard zipper that seems well made. The slots have elastic bands that hold the drives in place and they seem of the kind that won't wear out to fast giving you a bit of use before you might have to replace the case. I only have a few USB drives, three that have OS installs on them and one that has a memory checker software on it. The drives are of various shapes and sizes and all of them slid under the elastic bands without any problems. When you zip up the case, it provides fairly good protection for the drives. Overall, I like this item and will more than likely get another one if needed. Well , worth it's price....

If you were like me, you had flash drives all over the place. Only thing was when I wanted one I had to go looking for it. I searched on Amazon for the solution and found the Case Logic JDS-6 USB Drive Shuttle 6-Capacity-Black/Blue It was perfect and the right size.It is small enough to fit in a pocket, which makes it very convenient for carrying with you. It holds 6 flash drives very securely inside with an elastic mesh netting so you can see which flash drive you are choosing. It is made by Case Logic so you know it is a quality case. (I haven't found a case made by Case Logic that was made badly or that was inferior yet) It has proven to be a very effective way of organizing and storing my flash drives, no more clutter or searching for my flash drives. there always handy and right at my fingertips.

I bought this flash driver pouch due to the number of flash driver I seem to collect. It works great for holding most flash drives. It is made of a nice stiff nylon/spandex type material and has 6 small mesh pouches to hold each flash drive. the only problem I've had with it is two large Patriot XT flash drives. These drives a slightly thicker than a pack of gum and are rubber coated. The size combined with the rubber coating makes them difficult to get into the mesh pouch. Not impossible, they don't just slide in like all my other flash drives.Overall I am very pleased with this well had flash drive carrier. It is the size of a fat wallet and as such can be easily carried about. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to organize their flash drives.

Muy bueno para tener las memorias USB organizadas, ademas de seguras de algo que las pueda dañar, la version que compre trae espacio para 6 memorias, sin embargo el estuche es compacto y de buenos materiales, lo recomiendo.
