How long does the macerator pump last? Your rep seems concerned using TP or hooking a washing machine will cause it to fail.

I've had my pump working about a year now with no problems. I don't think water from a washing machine will cause any problems. Its just water.

the instructions that came with my spv100 state it must be connected to a vent. on the top of my unit are 3 ports. which is the vent?

the small one on the right when the main toilet port is facing you the cap may be hard to remove.
