Excellent resource for handloaders/reloaders.
if you like to reload your own ammo, this is the guide book you want. The tables for loads are carefully researched, they provide factory loads and specs, variations for different powders, specs for cartridges etc. You can safely under-load (target practice without beating up your wrist or shouulder) or create magnum loads, knowing what the expected chamber pressures are (and for my use, where to keep loads within typical factory range). Handloaders (reloaders) usually do their own because they want repeatable consistency for accuracy. This is the book that helps you where your ammo is concerned.

Quality information for reloaders!
Great manual. This is the latest if many. It contains all the information you need to produce reliable reloads.

One of the very best resources for reloaders.
This is an excellent resource for reloaders. This and the Lee Manuel are must haves for solid information about how and what of reloading. Since this hobby is potentially dangerous these books will guide you to safe practices. The load data is pretty good. I'm focusing on lead bullets and this manual covers those more fully than many other manuals. Its a virtue that it's not from a bullet maker. Even if your a long time reloader you will still find this useful. This is quite a bargain for what you get!!! Buy this book!!!

An absolutely solid option for any reloading bench
Overall I think the Lyman book tends to be one of the better ones on the market. The load data is well researched and gives some of the most information of any manual I have, it's well organized, and the loads are conservative on safety without being ridiculously underpowered. Because Lyman doesn't produce bullets, they give data for a really wide range and avoid being the giant ad catalogs that some manuals are. My one complaint is that some of their loads are tested at COLs that just aren't broadly used, and there's no data for some that are. For instance, they give data for 55gn .223 loaded at mag length (2.260") but most 55gn bullets are produced with the expectation that you're loading them at 2.200-2.220" (and you see this especially in cannelured bullets), and Lyman has no data for that length where every other manual does. That said, you should be checking multiple manuals anyway, and this excels in every other way.

A must have manual
One of the best manuals available. One of three that permanently resides on my side table so I can refer to it at any time. One of three I will buy every edition from now on.
