This knife is designed to be the ideal outdoor knife, and have a full range of functionality. For this knife we made the handle a bit larger and designed it to be perfect for hard use such as stabbing, carving or drilling. We decided to go with a durable G10 handle to give it an rugged durable feel. Not only does this knife look great, but the handle is designed to be comfortable for any size hand, large or small. The knife is designed with a clip point, straight-edge blade and a thumb stud for smooth, easy opening. We finished up the knife with a dark stone washed finish for the blade to help cover up any scratches or scrapes fron the wear and tear of hard use. As with all of our knives, the Chilkat comes with a sturdy belt clip for attaching to your belt or pocket with no worries of it falling or slipping out. The Chilkat is an excellent knife for any situation and its durability makes it the ideal knife for the outdoors! Our knives have been quality tested to ensure that we are providing the best EDC knives on the market! Our knives are extremely sharp out of the box and they hold their edge extremely well. Our blades are dead on center with very little to no blade play at all! Our goal is to provide YOU with the best EDC knife on the market for the money! Review: Freakishly large hands... it fits! - I'm 6'3 with very large hands and this thing fits.. well! Needs a slight finishing sharpen out of the box, but what knife doesn't? It is light when you pick it up, but has proven to be of a higher quality than the weight suggests. I'm very impressed with the quality of this knife. Locking mechanism is very secure. No side-to-side wiggle when the knife is in the locked position. The knife is exceptionally comfortable in reverse grip, edge out. Also, the slight depression in the end of the reverse side of the blade makes this an excellent daily driver in the forward Filipino grip. In general I would recommend this knife for daily carry as it does have a thin profile, and for anyone hiking/camping/backpacking/bikepacking. Review: It looks like it's already been used somewhat or it wasn't fully ... - Definitely not a show knife. It looks like it's already been used somewhat or it wasn't fully finished at the factory. However, I didn't buy it as a show knife. It is incredibly sturdy and the blade comes about as sharp as I'd want it. It is not spring-assisted, so the blade stays put quite well. Amazing knife for the price!
