Perfect solar fountain

very impressed with this, had to buy a large containr for it, just to keep the water from splashing out. a bird bath is far too small, not complaining buying a larger container was a good thing now a garden feature.

I searched Amazon to look for a fountain and decided on this one, I can't recommend this enough, lots of effects to choose from, water reaches a high level. The arms keep it where I want the water ,as not to go over the sides of the tub/water feature. It has been in with barely any sunshine and it still blibs away, obviously not vigorously as when there's full sunshine. Extremely happy with this solar fountain. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful fountain choices - birds are lining up to bathe!

We bought this solar powered fountain after seeing an idea on social media of building a water feature for our garden. The feature consists of two plant pots sat in one another with soil/flowers on the bottom of the bigger pot with a fountain in the smaller pot. Pros: - easy to set up out of the box, was not difficult to get it working - a very quiet operating noise - the water trickle doesn’t give you the urge to wee which is helpful when sat in your garden! - different ‘nozzles’ can give you different water fountain patterns Cons: - sadly the biggest con to this item, and the reason it only gets one star, is the requirement for sunlight. It ONLY works well with a constant stream of water when it is exposed to full sunshine. As you can see in the video - when there isn’t full sunshine (which let’s face it, in the UK, it’s not that often) it stops working or works intermittently. A bit like a dribble rather than a fountain! Sadly our water feature isn’t much of a feature unless it’s full sunshine outside. If this fountain had a battery which stored solar power to work consistently when there wasn’t full sunlight, it would be fantastic and I would fully recommend. We have tried looking around for other similar items that store solar power, but can’t seem to find one that may be suitable.

Quick delivery in recyclable packaging . Clear instruction on how to use. Only three stars as not all fountain pattern peaces illustrated ,in the package. Also certain attachments fly off as pressure increases. Solar panels work well even if overcaste ( light overcaste). I will update as the solar fountain is used.

So good I ordered another and I’m unlikely to stop there. I’m in water fountain heaven.

Bought this for my bird table. Need to top water up frequently in breezy conditions. Works best in full sunlight. Has lots of different nozzle variations to choose from. Great little product.

Based on the reviews, two factors influenced me to buy this model; the changeable heads for the different spray effects, and the switch to vary the pump speed. The shipment arrived in good order, all the parts were included, and the instruction pamphlet was legible and easily understandable. There is only one downtick I might mention. The inserts that create the different spray patterns are made of a translucent plastic and stamped with the letter of the alphabet corresponding to the spray patterns illustrated on the instruction sheet. The stamped letters are extremely difficult to see. Each time I determined which piece was which, I used a permanent marker and wrote the letter on the piece. I kept the flow issues from other reviews in mind and turned the pump speed select from MAX to MIN. I had installed the pattern pieces E and I for the pattern of four individual spouts in a fan pattern. While putting the spray heads on, the solar cells were toward the sun and I could feel the pump immediately start to hum. The fountain started to pump immediately. The initial fan spray was contained and fell back into the birdbath. After about three minutes the pump sort of hiccupped and caught a good prime at which point the spray flow increased to the height where the water fell outside the bath or else was caught in the strong spring breeze and blew outside the catch zone. I changed to sprayer J and it seemed to contain the spray at first, but the pump output increased and settled into a flow rate that went high and fell outside the catch zone. It doesn't show well in the first photo but the spray extends to the top of the picture border. In the second picture, the spray reaches as high as the road in the background. I estimate the spray height to be 24". In summary, it performs admirably and as promised. It just outperforms the capacity of our 20" diameter birdbath! I bought two of these, so I am going to experiment with putting a flow restrictor in one of the sprayers...and then shop for a larger birdbath!
