It is easy to read & understand. It provides facts on both sides of each topic & guides us through the Bible to find what God says about each topic. Chip does not tell us what to think but rather shows us how to find what we need to follow God's expectations when conversations come up on these topics. Very helpful book.

1. Spot-on, Biblically sound responses to highly "controversial" but age- and church-old conversations, floating around pulpits, sanctuaries, Bible study, youth ministries, and small groups today. 2. The Truth! - shown with logic, and love. 3. Both sides of the story, given just credit to each, and then a clear, well laid out explanation and conclusion to the argument, based on God's creation, design, law, guidance and love for His people. 4. Humor and personal experience - it helps make this stuff relatable. 5. Real-world application. If we are to bring the church back from "wokeness", we need to understand how to share God's uncompromising truth, with compassion and grace. Ingram gives great guidance, and insight in HOW to accomplish this! I could go on, but you get the idea. Now just get the book.

This book provides great insight and Godly wisdom concerning our culture of today. I enjoyed gathering with a small group of ladies weekly to explore the wonderful biblical teaching of Chip Ingram. This book helped us as Christians to know how we can better engage with our culture in a way that shines the light of Christ.

All Christians should read this book. The author does an excellent job reminding the reader of our need to stay engaged in conversation and influential in our culture. The author provides the reader with a plethora of information related to many hot topics and yet keeps the conversation simple and straight foward.

Our culture has gotten to it's present condition by heating up a few degrees at a time. Now, it is time to step back and look at what is loving and true. The information in this book truly gives you ways to share information rather than share an emotional response. Thank you, Pastor Ingram and God Almighty, for giving us a chance to sit at home to read this mighty book for such a time as this, before we engage in discussions about our culture as God planned it and as it has evolved. I particularly appreciated the section on homosexuality starting with an apology for the way Christians may have damaged another's relationship with God just by their approach to this topic. And then the truth and the love come so the next approach can be Godly and helpful.

Chris Ingram hits this head on and really helped our class to listen to what people say, the media events and the attitude changes that have speedily been changing...excellent! Lots of conversation on this subject. My husband and I were much more aware of these changes after the chapter studies. We believe that it has become easy to just listen, read and not really take in the full picture of the changes in how people perceive events and life. Also the rationalization of what is right and wrong, without the guidance of God's word.
