I can't fully express how in love I am with these notecards. I bought them for my mentors and teachers and everyone who helped me along the way as a student. The notecards were of quality, and when written on with a pen, the writing won't smudge. I use Muji pens, so that may have an impact on whether your results would be different, but the section where you're supposed to write is on paper and is not glossed. The designs were what got me to buy these. The designs very much reflect my personality and attitude, flowers and all... so the real downside I thought of was how intensely feminine looking they are but again, that's my personality anyway, so if anything, they just reflect more of me! :) There are also the black-background cards that have the least writing and more sophisticated than playful-looking so I reserved those for my men mentors. Other than that, I think they were perfect-sized, and can be filled in with a lot of things you're grateful for to your loved ones and mentors! :)

These are SO beautiful! I'm honestly so incredibly impressed. The images are clear and detailed. The colors are vibrant. The font is sweet and inviting. I love everything about the overall design! Plus, the cardstock is thick and obviously not cheap. I can't believe these cost as little as they do. I'm also a fan of the fact that one of the designs is vertical instead of horizontal, just in case I'm in the mood for something different, haha! And the bonus gold foil design is gooooorgeous! I personally like the colorful ones more for day to day use, but the foil ones would be incredible for a special occasion!

A lot of effort was put into these cards and for the money, you essentially end up with 10 craft projects for about $1 each. You can't beat that. But they do ship from China and aren't super well protected, so the end product may have a few curled edges. Mostly, the real problem is the lack of grammar, misspellings, and combination of sentiments within the same card. My favorite is the Birthday card, that then doubles as a 4th of July card (Happy Birthday America - on the back), but also triples for that unique someone who was born on the forth of July and also got married on their birthday ... because the interior art is more wedding-anniversary related than birthday (even though, yes, that is a cake). But you could also have fun with this one as gag gifts. The "romantic" motif gives the instruction to meet "in under the Eiffel Tower." It is somewhat sad, that they didn't invest in having someone who understood both the English language and American culture proof the cards before printing - because they are truly beautiful cards and a fun project. At the end of the day, you are getting 10 projects for about $1 each, including shipping. There are good and useful cards in the mix. (2) Birthday Cards (plus that unusual one), (3) Thank You Cards (plus one that doubles as Thank You and ... ah, "Best Wishes"), (1) general "for you" card, and a general "Hello Spring" (if you ignore the Christmas ornaments on the inside). :) Any single card would well be worth $5 .... so with at least 6-8 reasonably useful and beautiful cards, I'd say you more than get your money's worth.

I haven’t used these cards yet but I really love the multiple design choices they offer. They are cute and adorable. The patterns they print on the cards are good for birthdays, holidays, commemorations, thanking someone for offering helps, celebrations, congratulations, and surprises. They are all very delicate. However, I don’t think they are very fit for business uses since the patterns are just too cute. The blank interior space is good for creative people as they can draw and write whatever they want inside. I highly recommend these cards to people who love sending cards to maintain good relationships with friends and family as they are very handy and stylish. Girls will definitely love them!

Best cards ever! I love all of the designs, and how there's a mix of horizontal and vertical in the pack (I got the 37 count). They are super durable, so they don't bend too easily if they get caught under papers or books. The envelopes aren't too snug so that you could fit a photo or something else in it as well. They also come in the cutest box ever, which you could potentially reuse. SUCH a great deal for high quality thank you cards. I buy a lot of thank you cards for my job, and these are by far, my favorite.

I bought two packs of the 37-count thank you cards ahead of my baby shower in early August.The paper is a nice thick card stock and the prints are nice and saturated for gorgeous color. I love that they're graphic and feminine without being stereotypical cutesy for a baby girl's baby shower. I was thrilled to get such a large quantity of cards and envelopes for such a great price - so many thank you card packs are such small quantities and so expensive! These are lovely and you can't beat the price. The glue on the envelopes doesn't seem incredibly tacky, but I haven't had an issue with the flap staying closed. All in all I'm really happy with these and will definitely buy from Polite Society again.
